does anyone have/heard of an actual release date? called sony, cant give me a release date, didnt even have it on their website until a couple of emails regarding presales in australia of a product they werent sure they were releasing. maybe someone knows someone, who may know someone who can get a date. its october, and ive nearly got all the money i need, might have to get from overseas(im impaitient), but dont really want to.

With lumley sv, got a quote that wasn't too bad, but they do not offer the rights to salvage. Thus would he a BIG thing for me in the fact that they wouldn't cover the cost of all the mods/work I've done, instead covering upper end of market value, with pictures required. If they won't cover the midst, is like to get them back off the car, to put on the next project. The buzz insurance that has been running adds on tv in Sydney, had an alright price, but as soon as I went to add engine mods, said they couldn't insure. Just car is pretty steep. 5 years, could pay for the purchase price of my car, without excesses being considered, more, and its all mods. Last time I called shannons, they said and quote,"about 4-5000 dollars, it'd be cheaper else where". Then turned around and quoted 600 on a 69 camaro, a car that's worth about twice as much as mine, and has no abs... I might start doing another round. See how all the companies compare again...

Downloaded pc version last night. Ohhh booyyyy, not good. Probably my pc set up(its approx 2yrs old), but I was shooting people and they'd jump ahead. My gun kept blanking out of the picture too. For now, will stay with ps3, nowhere near the glitches. But graphics did look awesome on pc, and if i had a decent set up, I think I would be very happy...

willing to sell the oil filter housing block and engine mount pieces seperate? if so, how much would you be chasing?

played beta on ps3 tonight, pretty good, a couple of small glitches, but nothing major. i died pretty easy, but it is the first time ive played BF, controls take a bit of getting used to. next is to try it on the pc, dont know if my system will stand up, but its worth a try.

BF3 looks jawdroppingly awesome... What will the graphics on consoles look like? Never played fps on pc before. Might need a keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor, graphics card, etc, etc upgrade. And i don't mind the look of the MW3 sunnies... Will have to get MW2 so i know the storyline.

thanks mate, good ole, point and shot... i took 5 in total, that was the first, the others dont have the trees in them, and looked a little bare. i see alot of amazing sunsets, but i carpool with a mate, and i take snaps, while he drives. going across a bypass, nowhere to stop, but would love a decent camera, and some time to set up, and play with settings.

Hey mate, what dump adaptor are you going to use? And which intake so it doesn't foul the bonnet? I was looking at doing this I'm my 32gtr, but have decided a different route. I highly recommend reading through a lot of the topics in the 25/26/30 rebuild thread. ALOT of usable info, and things you may not have thought of. Also pretty sure I saw answers to most the questions you're asking. Good luck with your project. And try and post up a thread whilst doing it.

That's what everything on the net points to. But still couldn't find anything on their website. Did the newsletter suggest an Aussie rrp? My birthdays in October, so it must be a sign.

Don't know yet, us$2000 with lens on sonys website. They don't even list it on the Australian web site. So probably grey. Sony aus doesn't list the a580 either, so I'm a little disappointed with the Australian range. Same story as always, we always miss out on the good stuff.

Anyone heard of this, maybe even tried a pre-production model? Been looking at the eos600 or NIKON d5100, but saw this POP up. Doing more research, it looks pretty good on paper. Has a lot of features is like in a camera. Would rather pay the extra, but thought I'd get opinions first. So, thoughts?

ok, back onto the topic, looking at canon eos600d, and nikon d5100 does anyone have first hand experience with both? anyone out near western sydney that can show me theirs, and go over some of the features? any help would be appreciated. hopefully someone can help me out with this question.
