I always try to wave. Sometimes just don't see them in time.... And with the bikes, a lot don't give the nod, I do, its a you're interested in what I'm interested in thing. Most of the imports that don't wave back are generally people who arnt enthusiasts.

hope this is in the right section. i was just wondering if anyone has taken their own car to germany to do the autobahns and nurburgring? is it even possible? its one of my life goals, do the car up to the point i want it, then take it to a place where i can do the speeds legally. any info would be appreciated. will be doing my own research also. p.s. i used the search function, and came up with alot of people using hired cars, but not their own from australia.

BNR32 013343 thanks in advance. this will be interesting. the compliance plate that the aus government put on states as 8/93, which should be series 2. dont have the brakes, has push clutch. and the vin plate also has the 6U9... doesnt end with the factory vin.

its easy, 2 doors or 4? ive got an r32 gtr and love it. 280rwkw, 8500rpm, dump the clutch=awesome feeling.... i told my wife, when we get kids, i get an evo as a family car, because they have 4 doors either way you go, get a thorough mechanical check, and you should be fine. good luck with the hunt.

thanks mate, i done my apprenticeship at penrith mazda. saw the colour on cars every day and didnt stand out. then one day, i was following an SP23 in this colour, and thought, thats the colour i want. i needed to respray anyway, so it got done. looks better with all the black accesories. thanks everyone for the compliments.... makes all the effort worthwhile.

According to the workshop manual, you're meant to disconnect the battery before bleeding if the car has abs. Mine felt the same the other night when I put my new pads and rotors on, and bled a little. Left it for an hour, and got the feeling back. Go figure. Let us know how you go.
