  1. What cams are you after to swap? Straight swaps? And location?
  2. I preferred the skid(my engine didn't).I can corner quickly on the street. I cant spin/drift.
  3. Also, possible to see what the meals are before I deposit? I'm a finicky eater
  4. Can someone loan me a car trailer and tow car?
  5. there were always those who took it Srsly. And those who didn't and just wanted to skid off the street. Now it appears it's just going to be srs. So, when is sau.nsw going to hold a drift/skid event?
  6. Is this anything like Andre 2000?
  7. halthech will grow with you.Last my engine was running, I was at 445rwkw. And there are plenty more with higher power then me. As i said though, go the platinum pro plug in. Seems to have a better feature set. The sport 1000 doesn't have support for more then 4 coils from memory.
  8. If going halthech, get the platinum pro plug in. Has a wide feature set. And just plugs straight in. No need for patch looms or custom wiring.
  9. you say its ok to be another wastwland, then get the shits with spam? also, needs more lambo doors, chrome rims, candy paint and slamming.
  10. congratulations to the newly elected. lookong forward to the 2014/15 year
  11. not going to freak them out.will just make them target you. doesn't matter about the gauges being chrome if youre going to slam the car on chrome 20s.they will still see you from a mile away. you just said idle wise.then said not an idle comparison? and I have seen those wheels on an rx7. a couple actually. you could say, hes an agry bird... YEEAAHHHH!!!! FnF didn't give you the idea?youre 18 now. which means you would have been 5 when FnF was released. so, all those ideas(even in mags) would have been partly inspired by FnF. but you have, to a degree.you want to paint you gauge pods to "blend in" but, you want the gauges, chrome wheels and stance to "stand out"(from the crowd). again, you want the gauge pods painted to be "different". even though many others have done it. so, no one else take into consideration how the wheels look? they walk into a tyre shop/wheel supplier and ask for anything chrome? no. they choose their wheels because they like how they look on their car. how does that make them "twits"? they've done exactly what you have. so, does that make you a "twit" by your own definition? ok, some thoughts... talk to an engineer about your mods. lambo doors could mess with the structural integrity of the car. fibreglass front guards may not be legal. the gauge pods DEFINITLY arnt legal on the bonnet of anywhere on the exterior. if you "slam" your car, it may be well below the legal limit. replica seats don't normally carry ADR approvals. nor do aftermarket rails. the reason im mentioning this, is, with your chosen paint and wheel combo, it will attract A LOT of unwanted attention from the authorities. once you do the lambo doors, it will be costly to convert back to standard to clear defects. the guards wont be as hard to change. lastly. I don't care what you do to your car. its yours. not my taste, but youre not building it for me. just put a little thought into it.
  12. oh, one thing to keep in mind.... once the price is set, haggle in the finance. this is also a game, and a separate sale. get them to cut the interest rate lower. they have room to move. generally more then the actual car price.
  13. Congratulations!
  14. Work at a dealership. But can't do anything. Best bet is to call around, knocking them down in price vs each other.

  19. $19/hr for a tyre fitter? thats pretty decent. as a qualified mechanic, im on a decent wage of 23/hr. and thats decent..... it can be very hard to find someone willing to take on a mature age apprentice. the key here is, find what you have fun doing. then, have patience. my previous manager (in a tyre shop) started out as a tyre fitter, and worked his way up. it takes time, as most good stores, staff is a little stagnant. but, it gives you more experience. personally, id hire someone who stayed in their last job at least 24 months. it shows the person to be stable/dependable and not walk out at the drop of a hat. either way, good luck. hope it all falls into place for you.
  20. twasnt my idea, but I like it.
  21. thanks heaps to theo and the exec team for another brilliant event!
