not going to freak them out.will just make them target you.
doesn't matter about the gauges being chrome if youre going to slam the car on chrome 20s.they will still see you from a mile away.
you just said idle wise.then said not an idle comparison?
and I have seen those wheels on an rx7.
a couple actually.
you could say, hes an agry bird...
YEEAAHHHH!!!!
FnF didn't give you the idea?youre 18 now.
which means you would have been 5 when FnF was released.
so, all those ideas(even in mags) would have been partly inspired by FnF.
but you have, to a degree.you want to paint you gauge pods to "blend in"
but, you want the gauges, chrome wheels and stance to "stand out"(from the crowd).
again, you want the gauge pods painted to be "different".
even though many others have done it.
so, no one else take into consideration how the wheels look?
they walk into a tyre shop/wheel supplier and ask for anything chrome?
no.
they choose their wheels because they like how they look on their car.
how does that make them "twits"?
they've done exactly what you have.
so, does that make you a "twit" by your own definition?
ok, some thoughts...
talk to an engineer about your mods.
lambo doors could mess with the structural integrity of the car.
fibreglass front guards may not be legal.
the gauge pods DEFINITLY arnt legal on the bonnet of anywhere on the exterior.
if you "slam" your car, it may be well below the legal limit.
replica seats don't normally carry ADR approvals.
nor do aftermarket rails.
the reason im mentioning this, is, with your chosen paint and wheel combo, it will attract A LOT of unwanted attention from the authorities.
once you do the lambo doors, it will be costly to convert back to standard to clear defects.
the guards wont be as hard to change.
lastly.
I don't care what you do to your car.
its yours.
not my taste, but youre not building it for me.
just put a little thought into it.
