Holden HD Premier X2 Wagon

Thanks for the reply Dennis, not what I was asking but anyway.. My question is: Is the rougher ride because the spring is 40mm lower and that just comes with the territory (less travel etc), or is it because I retained the OEM shocks? I can't tell you if it's hitting bump stops because I don't know what that feels like.. As I said I am going for comfort so if it is the shocks, which shocks should I use to help remedy this issue? (I do have some KYB New SR Specials, will they do the trick?) Daleo?? help?!

So I had the springs installed and I'm really happy with the look, but I've noticed the front ride is a little harsher than the OEM springs even though the spring rate of the new springs is lower than OEM at 2.5. The reason I went for softer springs because I was going purely for comfort (I'm getting old). The rears don't seem to have this issue as they are only 20mm less and the spring rate is the same as OEM. Now, is the rougher ride because the spring is 40mm lower and that just comes with the territory (less travel etc), or is it because I retained the OEM shocks? I can't tell you if it's hitting bump stops because I don't know what that feels like.. As I said I am going for comfort so if it is the shocks, which shocks should I use to help remedy this issue? (I do have some KYB New SR Specials, will they do the trick?) Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All I'm considering puting lowered springs in the SII WGNC34, they are 40mm lower up front and 20mm at the rear. Am i going to need camber bolts for these heights? If so what size do I require please? Thanks

Hi Paulo Personally I kept my Xanavi screen and installed an intergrated GPS into it https://www.gpscity.ca/compare/gvn53 through the AV input in the rear, that way I retained the OEM look but had local GPS & aircon functionability on the screen. however if you want to do it the other way... This looks like the harness You need http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?ei=UTF-8&p=%E3%82%B9%E3%83%86%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8%E3%82%A2++%E3%83%8F%E3%83%BC%E3%83%8D%E3%82%B9+%E3%82%A8%E3%82%A2%E3%82%B3%E3%83%B3&oq=&n=100&auccat=0&slider=0&tab_ex=commerce&mode=1 also the brackets http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g131820786 and the AC head unit: http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f132779952 there are lots of brokers out there happy to help you with the purchases (if you are happy to pay their fees) Good luck !! -

Hi All On the weekend I parked on the side of the road on uneven dirt/gravel with the nose downhill. When I attempted to reverse back onto the road the two wheels on opposite corners (under least resistance) of the car just started spinning and the car didn't move. Had no space to go forward so I hit the syncro switch but nothing changed. Tried a few combos etc but the same wheels just kept spinning. Ended up having to ask some kind bystanders to push me out. Does this sound normal? does synchro mode only work in forward? Is there something I'm missing? How does one even check if it works? Thanks Tim

OK kids, the images tell the story, some threads missing, drivers mat worn as expected. Rubber backed, thick pile, cigarette burn in the small one. seems someone has cut the drivers one to fit a manual but has stitched the edge back well. Definitely not perfect. Feel free to request more images, inspections welcome Mascot, NSW 0401 454406 or PM $100 + Postage - be warned they are heavy and large so postage could be hexi.
