  1. That plug is for the IACV or the cold start valve cant quite remember which but have a feel around there and you should find it. Should help your idle issue to. When you say CAS is reading 0, you mean 0 degrees? Thats a bit odd if it runs
  2. Check engine light? Car comes with one of those.... I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve? What ECU are you using?

  4. Check steering wheel sensor as suggested If you have heavy steering when driving slowly it may be the HICAS ECU itself. I had this problem (mind you i have a lock bar installed) and it was just an ECU fault. Sounds similar to yours. Usually the first time i drove it for the day it all worked then as soon as i parked up went and did something and came back, started the car - heavy steering I bought another ECU for about $50 second hand (was actually a newer model HICAS ECU) and has been fine ever since Ideally, if you know someone else with a 33, swap the HICAS ECU's and see if your car starts working perfectly and their car starts playing up. That way you can confirm or rule it out without spending anything

  6. I dont think its just that simple. The livery change has to be approved etc and im sure they wouldnt allow teams to change the colour scheme every race. The helmet thing is for the viewers so its easier to tell which driver is which. Different when its a whole car/team
  7. Much better But its awful bare sponsership wise these days. Sad times for Mclaren
  8. +1 Imagine they will look much much better without it. Not that there is as much chrome as there was on the MP4-21 etc. Or was it the 22 when they went Johnnie walker then vodafone livery?
  9. I'm pretty sure the hose you've said you don't need is for your coolant bleed (in which case yes you dont need it) and then you can just plug the turbo coolant drain (I think it is) hose into that port.
  10. If it winds over its not your starter. Things like if its running stock ECU and what (if anything) you have looked at or tried. What mods, what spark plugs you are running (have you looked at them or changed them to fix the problem?), when was the last time fuel filter was changed? Im all for helping people but you have to make a little bit of effort
  11. Is it tuned? If you do the data init then it will unlock it. But it will also erase whatevers on it and go back to factory. Do you need to change it because you are running dofferent injectors? From memory the value is set relative to stock so 0 is same lag time as stock
  12. I think you should read your topics before posting There are too many variables and all i know about your car is that it has a walbro fuel pump. More info needed
  13. Are we talking stock manifold? There is nothing listed in fast for just the bit of pipe. I know it is seperate on the Greddy/Freddy manifolds. If you have the money the easiest thing would be to take it to an engineering shop and see if they can machine or remove the old one out and make a new one up. I'm not sure if its press fit or not, as I suspect it always comes installed in the manifold if it is press fit etc
  14. It looks like a carbon canister. I'm failry sure I've seen one on an R33 before, but its odd because I have the same one as your third photo on my car. Most people I think have those ones but the one that fell off I'm sure I've seen it on another R33. Perhaps aftermarket/compliance carbon canister? Or off another version Nissan? Maybe a series 2 carbon canister? Why your car would have had 2 installed is beyond me but
  15. Just dont boost. Easy
  16. The bolts are accessible but the cover WILL NOT come off with the balancer on
  17. Saw this last night. Want one sooo bad but would be absolutely wasted in my car and i dont think i have the cash for that anyway haha Looks awesome but. Would love to see what they can do with it
  18. Seriously. Talk to Kudos, chances are they can get you everything you need at a good price
  19. Jack the car, remove wheel, remove the caliper, re-fit wheel, lower car That way you only need a small space to rebuild the brake The shop may have been quoting worst case, if the pistons need replacing etc I have the part number for the seal kit somewhere. Think they are only $40-$50 a kit. Should be fairly easy to rebuild. Hopefully the most they will need is a light hone. Otherwise you could buy a second hand caliper
  20. Your making this much harder then it needs to be. Contact Kudos Motorsport and ask them for an RB25 water pump. They are good guys to deal with and will be able to get you a pump
  21. 10mm head. They are 6mm bolts But yeah. I tried to pull mine off with the engine out of the car. It doesnt come past the balancer because it needs to come out from the engine a bit before you can pull it up
  22. I think 6 years later, he has probably moved on from Hiclones
  23. Have you looked at anything? Plugs, Coils would probably be a good place to start What ECU? What Mods? List some more details. It does make a difference if its a 600hp GTR or a stock standard R32 N/A
