Unfortunate you couldn't make it today. Is the car going to be heading back to the track at some point after repair ?...or will it now be taken out of action for good .

I saw the 9.0 run today..and was hoping to see some more quick runs superjet.. The lack of gtr presence though was a bit disappointing today.

sounds like it could be a gate issue,considering most other variables (new turbo,tight cooler piping connections) seem to be addressed. There is only a few things it could be..check them off the list one by one.

Look forward to seeing it in action on the 28th & hope it will all come together for the magic number on its last hurrah..so to speak. I think you more than deserve it considering the amount of time/ money/r&d that goes into chasing the numbers..i know to well what thats like. For such a dedicated to the drag scene guy like yourself over the years, i hope you nail it on the day...everyone knows its true potential .

Try boc gases or somewhere similar.

Worn synchro's mate..mine does it on 3rd to 4th shift if you go a bit too quickly. It shifts normally on the gear change when driving 'normal'..but if you get up in the rpm a bit or pull it through too quickly i get a small crunch. Its time for me to rebuild it & put a decent gearset in anyway ,synchros just get lazy after many years of use.

You are correct with the understeering and average boxes standard. My brother has one that goes very well,but now has ppg box and good suspension..as these and stock brakes are average. They are a good little car setup properly & can be picked up very cheap now..and dont suffer the same oil problems as gtr's. GTiR has absolutely no similarities to the ATTESA system used on the GT-R, apart from that they are in essence both 4WD. The GTR system uses a RWD setup, which when overcome by slip/torque (detected by G meters) it transfers torque to the front wheels, therefore giving 4WD. Whereas, the system used on the Bluebird and GTiR is your simple centre LSD with a 50/50 split front to rear with no electronic variation in torque split

Sounds like a problem i had a while back & i found a bad connection at the plug of the afm. I would check the ignitor also.

That thing is an animal...cant wait to see it dialed in 100%,it should stomp on the competition.

I have been looking at the nitto stuff lately too..i like the fact they are are 4340 & full counterweight unlike most others in a stroker. To be honest i will be pushing near 400kw soon with the engine thats already in the car,& everthing looks stock also.

Swiper..please elaborate on some details of the stealth bomber..im curious as to why your not using the 2.8 that you have for sale. Im tempted to put your 2.8 short in my car...damn house renovating sucking the cash though.

It has a rear wiper & what looks to be the ac condenser in the pic...so not an N1 i believe. Also has abs...

Welcome mate,clean looking gtr you have there too. Im not far from richmond either..And the putty rd is a good drive and close by if your not familiar with it already.

Thats one serious bit of gear you have going into this.. Nice build Nur33, look forward to some updates.

Genuine Z tune stuff is CFRP ..not fibreglass ?
