My mates R34 makes 390rwkw with hks gtss's tuned by jim from crd..given its at 28 psi, but still makes me think i should have gone with some ss's instead of going for the 2530's. Oh well ..looks like i should shoot for 400kw then.

I have a SR20 vvl head on a gtir short motor mounted in a datsun 1600 with an r33 gtst gearbox behind it...yes mods have to be made but it is certainly something that can be done . Solenoids can be reloacted quite easily ..but i chose to alter the firewall to suit & use the original dizzy body only for the trigger to run a coil on plug setup. Last pic is when i had the gtir head on it as well ..as it will still run the quad throttle bodies.

Good to hear you didnt grenade the box & only killed the selector... Is there no way of programming an ignition cut in the vipec ?...i would of thought that would have been do-able for flat shifting between gears.

It look like the only t4 housing that atp supply is the 1.06,which was not available when i got my rear housing from them. Though i think i will be happy with the response from .78...after all killer throttle response and a strong curve was more important to me than an overall number which is why i chose to go 2.2 litre with a twin scroll & individual throttle bodies. I was going to try a borg warner as i have seen & heard good things from them,but i thought i would try the one i have first.
