clint: i cant do the work myself as i dont have the tools, thats why im thinking press bends. If i had the tools id do it for sure, so i thought it would be wise to take it to the exhaust shop and just get them to make the pipes there. What sorta price would i expect to pay for 2 small pipes (mild steel/press bent)-- (turbo to air filter, and turbo to cooler). they are no longer than 30cm each

Now i know it may not be the best mix - mild steel and press bends, but can it still flow effectively? Im looking at installing a new turbo and i have a tight budget. Now, press bends may not flow as well as mandrel ones, but for the time being to get my car on the road, will the press bends be fairly efective and still flow pretty well? The car is a 2L piazza, and im using a vg30 turbo with the stock cooler. Any suggestion to piping sizes etc? btw, i will upgrade to a better quality steel and use mandrel bends when i can afford it, but it may be a while:) Cheers Anthony

i dont like to spoil ur party, but the autometer gauges are normally sold for around 70 dollars second hand in perfect condition. So ur price of 1100 for 6 gauges is very exxy! And they dont retail for 350 each - more like 120-180 each! Cheers
