  1. It's the motor/computer for the rear window demistor.
  2. Ok just to clear some things up. Yes the R32 GTR does have a hicas fluid reservoir in the back right of the boot. NOTE any other varient R32 including GTS-t GTS will not have a reservoir there so don't bother looking. Wheels alignments should only be a last resort IMO. Here's some possiblilites. 1: If you have an aftermarket steering wheel, you SHOULD have a hicas bosskit or your light will stay on continously. 2: Your hicas ECU in the trunk, on the underside of the parcel tray may have a fault. 3: Possible leaks in the steering / low power steering fluid. 4; If your hicas has been deleted you should be able to see a lock bar in there (in this case you don't need to worry about the light) If all else fails just eliminate hicas altogether. It's cheap and you'll find handling alot more predictive.
  3. I'm glad someone said it. I'm going to take this thread further off topic. For starters you say you inflate your tyres to 42psi on the track. You do know that lowering the tyre pressure will get you more grip by running a larger surface area of the tyre. Try it on your next track day. 42PSI + an extra 2 odd PSI due to heat leads to crappy track times The so called "Optimal tyre pressure" is normally recommended by the company itself and most on average should be around the 28-32 PSI range or in some cases just above the factory recomendations.
  4. Not trying to start an arguement or anything but, FACT, just because the tyre's sidewall says you can inflat your tyre to a max psi of 40psi doesn't mean you should. FACT, factory recommends you inflat 205/55/r16 tyres to 2.2kg/cm(2) which equilates to 30 odd psi. In my case 32 psi is a healthy dose. FACT, my car is a daily cruiser, I'm in the current phase where I prefer comfort over performance. FACT, considering the guy who works at Firestone has a GT-t Skyline himself, shows he at least is not a complete idiot
  5. Local firestone people fitted my new tyres and said 32-34 is a good psi. I'm not carrying any full load either nor travelling at 160 k's + I'm using BP 95 octane.
  6. http://sthitec.blogspot.com Several posts down. One of NZ top tuners dyno tuned his own stock R34. 175kw atw And if it's correct about the 30% drivetrain loss it's about 227 at the fly
  7. Me: Category 2 1999 R34 Gt 2.0, Sedan, Auto, Standard Tyres at 32 PSI Alot of start stop, 1/2 urban, 1/2 highway driving. 400-450km's full tank. 12L/100km's Sometimes am able to get 550+ out of a tank if doing highway driving all the time.
  8. It'll fit a 4 door, i've tried it. You just gotta trim the edges a bit as the sedan tail lights aren't round. Yep it'll fit anything, as it's just a simple stink on application. You just got to drill like a 5mm hole for the wires. It's got 2 wires, one positive, one negative. How hard is it lol

  10. Hey I was wondering does anyone on here own a R34 Skyline Sedan, more specifically a GT with the 2.0 litre Neo RB20de engine (Automatic). The reason i'm asking is because of the ever increasing fuel prices i'm looking for a more economical car while not being a complete nana mobile. I've owned many Skylines over the past but have never worried too much about petrol, until recently when it's $1.80L of petrol. I've done a bit of research and found factory specs that the GT 2.0 is the most economical averaging 8-9 L /per 100km, but knowing it can never be achieved. Now what I want to know from you owners out there, is what type of fuel milage you achieve in the "real world" driving. I've searched on the forum only to find GTT and GT2.5 fuel milages. Any comment will be appreciated
  11. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-147737900.htm ^^ white one for sale, There's apparently quite a few here in NZ already about 4 black ones, 1 red one, and one white one as above
  12. ^^ i know it's not hard, i've shipped a Hicas pump to someone on here before. It's more that i'm just lazy lol What do you reckon they're worth. I didn't know so stuck up a price, but am gathering alot of interest at current price.
  13. It's awesome how rare these things are and I have one. But decided to sell it. Some guy paid me $250 for it then wanted a refund. GRRHHHH http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=145909670 P.S Don't PM me guys, don't want to ship that far lol
  14. Cheers Steve33, it took me 3 months to find one i was happy to buy Inthisglass, yea she's a stocker for sure, don't plan to change a thing (already got another skyline to mod). I did purcahse it with a pod and intake but I couldnt stand the "Bling" and bought back the factory intake. Yes the wheels were available on silvia's, 180sx, and yes they did come out on skylines mainly r32's, but did apear on r33's as well. I notice when these wheels come out on R33 they abit more polished and less of a dull silver colour.
  15. Gay movie, Tokyo Drift was alright
  16. My GTS25 from kiwiland Clean and stock standard just the way i like it.
  17. Not trying to sound rude to you all, but all of you guys are wrong. I personally have converted a sedan to coupe tail lights (see pic) None of the parts are interchangable. The coupe boot lids are wider. And the coupe tail lights have a bigger (note: much bigger) bulb holders. Bumpers do not fit as well, you gotta redrill everything
  18. Nope it's real titanium, but not from Top Secret but ARC. It's the R1 Skyline
  19. I always wondered what is was too. Found out to be rear window demister controlly thingy
  20. like most the parts on my car i got them from a good friend in Japan.
  21. Haha it's for show mate. And the cars from New Zealand not Aussie.
