  4. yeh i've read all about the d2 setups etc, nice price tho brad are you guys open tomoz morn?, unfortunately sat morns are kinda the only time i can make it to ossie park unless your flat out tomoz.
  5. i personally think the springs have been cut, they guy i bought it from liked to cut corners and im still going through the car fixing stuff. and correct me if im wrong, but ive been told that cut springs can loose tension, or something along those lines. its just front right, everything else appears to be ok. no you guys havent had a look. did speak to you last week bout a price on teins tho.
  6. yeah bushes would be the next step, especially if i dont go with coilovers. i can get them cheap thru work so thats not a hassle.
  7. drift, and i know tein super street will set me back bout $2k
  8. sorry, meant like their shock and spring setup, non coilover type, or something along those lines.
  9. wondering if anyone can help me with my dilemma. my rh front suspension is rogered on my 32, sits 15mm lower than the left. dunno whats caused it, no local suspension shop wants to touch it. plus its a good excuse to spend money on my car i use the car as a daily, was just wondering what everyone thinks whether i should go for coilovers or just change to a bilstein setup. i eventually would like to get into track work a little more. should i bite the bullet and get coilovers, or will bilsteins or the like do for the track?
  10. dirt garage (moto x place) in vic park opposite maccas, where i got mine from(altho my mate knows the owner), they had to order it in. took a couple of days. actually you'll prob find alot of bikes place are motul suppliers.
  11. yeah, i think flex have 6kg front and 5kg rear. plus luckily, perth roads are a bit nicer, in some places.lol
  12. oh ok, sorry, got confused, been reading heaps about spring rates and whether to go coilovers or not. not that i want to start another one of those threads. lol. has anyone owned the tein flex? they rougher ride than super streets or softer?
  13. so you recommend just replacing the springs and keep stock shocks?
  14. Which would be the best to go for? Looking at a majority of street with a little track time. Ive read that superstreet arent to adjustable height wise? are the type flex any better?
  15. Amen Chris, please try and be nice to the salesman, especially if they are being nice, were not all pricks. lol.
  16. hey, I was thinking bout taking the air con out of my r32 gtst, but i was wondering if theres a specific way to get the compressor out.? Does this power steering pump need to be moved/taken out to, or is there a special trick, cuz after a quick look it seems to be a tight fit from above or below.
  17. yeh, same as every car, long as its looked after. and jason is a good bloke, knows what he's on about, i used to sell used cars at diesels so i know the service boys there. with any dealer you get 3 months warranty, provided its under 12 years old and under 120 or 180km's cant remember, look at the back of the pink slip where the car details are, its all on there. they have to provide that by law, they will prob try and sell you some aftermarket warranty to go with it, these are ok, but to get really decent cover you need to get the highest cover, you find with the entry level ones the major stuff isnt really covered.
  18. the clk 230 was the most sought after, 230 having the slightly larger capacity engine ,and still being pretty decent on fuel. engine wise and box wise they are very strong. as german gear normally is. Electrics werent super crash hot and some had some minor probs, switches and lights not working every now and then. Nothing to major tho. Best thing to do is make sure that you get a warranty with one, that way your covered for anything. Reviews are a bit hard to find, best bet is to find euro forums and look around on there. I personally wasnt a huge a fan of the body shape. But the drive was always good. Dealer isnt Westpoint by any chance?
  19. tuner should be able to re-do the map to suit r32 hey?
  20. i looked into this a while ago, wageline say adult wage is min $460 before tax a week last time i called, but they said depends on the employer and obviously overtime and stuff. also think there may be some gov incentives to, but didnt look into that to far. i know range ford are looking for apprentices atm, and they tend to favor mature age a bit from what ive heard.
  21. i agree with the interior compared to other models, but its nappa leather, racing seats, esp can be turned completely off unlike past benz. and for like price its pretty decent.
  22. Just turned up at work, 3 changes of pants later got some pics, sorry bout the quality. 0-100 in 4.5 seconds. and sounds awsome, got a audio clip to if anyone wants to hear it.
  23. i live round the corner in maddo, so ill keep an eye out to. the guys prob live in the area, being the genius' they are.
