hey anyone know if any workshops make a larger drift/drag style wing? i like the do luck one, but not the price.... i would just like a drift lip that sticks out maybe 5" from the bumper or something.

I thought it was supposed to be TDC 0?? that's where everything lines up for me.

i'm in the middle of doing mine at the moment and the marks on one of my cam gears is probably out by a tooth or two i think....

The power window winder-x-bar thingy has totally popped off - the window glass is loose from the guide and is completely open and its just generally f*cked. so is this just a job for any old mechanic or should i go to a specific place to get it done?

SOLD Hey got some Federal tyres with my volks that were too wide (10") and needed to have my guards flared to avoid them peeling strips off. So now got some stretched 245s or something (i don't know, i had a quick look but forgot). Anyhoo, i don't know if anyone wants some cheap tyres, they have about 5mm of tread on both as you can see in the pics. ANd the 'limit' things are still a ways off as you can see in the last picture.I only have the 2, cos i kept the others which were on the 9"s. f*cken hell! this is a terrible conclusion to the story! why f*cken do that to such a lovely car!?!? what do people get out of ruining something like that!?? personally i would probably find some childish fun in buying a $200 p.o.s, smashing it around a paddock and blowing it up, but a perfectly good, sexy, performance car!?!? it makes no sense, i couldn't bring myself to do it, even if i absolutely hated the person!?!! people are f*cken scum!!!!! and whether it be because it happens so often or just cos cops on the gold coast are also f*cken scum (i don't care if it's a majority or minority, they have a responsibility to ALWAYS serve the public and too often they just don't!), the chances of any justice being served to whoever did it are infuriatingly low. i apologise for making jokes earlier in this thread, i stupidly didn't even consider that things would turn out this way.

spotted a couple of r33's and an r34 along the esplanade at surfers yesterday arve. until then i thought the 'skyline wave' was just a myth! it was the first time in years i had been on the esplanade at surfers and it was just as i remembered - full of bogans driving and checking out cars and generally trying to stare people down (haha it would make me angry if it wasn't so funny ). Me and my mate were having a coffee in broady and saw a few 'drive-by'ers' in pimped black merc's and an older supra with a gold front mount and the hilarity got to use and we said "f*ck yeah, let's do an esplanade cruise!" saw a 'supra crew', a 'rich crew' (2005 M5, 350z etc), an 'early 90's/late 80's 3 series beewee crew', a 'baggy shorts, socks pulled up, hate 3/4 sideways minitruck and van crew', a 'wog crew' and of course - a little 'skyline crew'! I honestly wasn't expecting it, but every skyline I saw the driver gave a wave! Seriously, in a culture full of tossers and dudes with small penis's, i felt pretty proud to be part of a crew that actually is friendly and cool about the fact that they just like their cars and can appreciate others who like the same car rather than trying to outdo and intimidate each other. I was so high on the vibe i gave a few waves to everyone else i saw and just got a few tough guy looks, a few confused "holy shit, what do i do!? umm "Whatever dude" " looks, but sif I cared! to anyone that waved to my standard looking white 33 with the old school volks on it (now), and the large but super quiet (and prolly hell restrictive) nismo exhaust - Peace!! You guys rock!!

putting a rag in one of their petrol tags and lighting it up is always a nice, friendly way to settle things. failing that, have sex with one of their parents/siblings/children and send them the photos - that's always a good situation neutraliser. good luck
