  1. haha i keep clicking on this thread and then seeing that it's not finished and have come to the realisation that it never will. but i still find it funny for some reason.
  2. ^^oooh about that...that reminds me i need to shave... no that's crazy, did you try to run him off the road or just get in front of him and cut him off. both an alarm and imobiliser??!? f*ck that shatters my confidence in getting one and sleeping soundly at night if it has vic plates that should be reasonably easy to spot, i'll keep an eye out.
  3. Hey if anyone has a harmonic balancer puller on the gold coast that wouldn't mind lending it to me, let me know. I have stands, trolley jack, ramps, creeper if anyone would like to borrow in exchange for lending the puller. Cheers Dane
  4. maybe we should just do a poll....or something like that. 10w-60 seems like too wide a spread. most recommendations are aound 10w-40, 15w-40 or even 5w-30. put it this way, how important is the health of your engine? if you don't push your engine all that hard, you should be pretty right with regular run of the mill oils. however most people agree that fully synthetics are the way to go for hi-power engines that are 'opened up' on a regular basis. motul chrono and redline are two oils that seem to be trusted by almost everyone, however they're expensive, soooo to answer your question (sorry i work for the govt so i like to run around in circles confusing people before i actually get to the point and even then it probably doesn't actually answer your question but by then you're over it and just nod and say ok and leave) i think i've seen fairly low opinions of castrol edge on this thread. although i THINK (don't quote me) sydney kid uses castrol products on his track car. or you might want to type the word castrol down in the left corner there
  5. i'm going with a saber boost - was gonna get a defi bf while they're on special at nengun, but then add in the controller unit and delivery...looking at about $300 and that's 1 gauge! i'll wait til i win at the casino or races or something (cos i certainly won't be getting a tax return this year:( ) i've heard people say saber are exactly the same as autogauge blackfaces - do the autogauge's do the start up dance? i'll let you know how the saber goes this weekend hopefully if it turns up in time - they just sent it today. shouldn't take me very long to hook up, i already have the wiring set up from trying to install a second hand apexi el....(another story - can't trust anybody these days)
  6. added pic. you can tell its a special one....very rare
  7. try nengun for a brand new one. doubt many people will have them, if they do - damn them! i wanted one too not long ago
  8. dammit i need to stop buying average wheels i don't particularly like and save up for when wheels like these turn up lovin' the gunmetal, but black would be cooler!)
  9. Hey all, Got the 100km kit from Kudos (top bloke btw) but I already had a greddy timing belt (i'm a brand s**t) and seeing as it's not really necessary to keep timing belt spares laying around, i figured someone else might want it. I'm on the gold coast but of course it wouldn't be hard to post a timing belt so i'll do so for $5 anywhere in aus if you want. If people want pics, i'll take some tonight - i think it's just black, as in oem style but i haven't even looked at it to be honest, its still in the box with the bearings cos i've been too lazy to organise my 100km service. Cheers Dane SOLD SOLD SOLD thanks
  10. are all you guys that roll/flare your guards getting cracks in your paint or is it all good?
  11. with that size and offset - yes
  12. ah ok, i saw them there as part of a package but i guess you need to ask specifically for them thanks guys
  13. hoping this bumps gets this thread some attention.... i want to fit 324mm GTR rotors to my R33Gtst with standard callipers and need the brackets (well depending on how much they are - if they're not too expensive, for sure, if they are, well i don't think the gains will be worth it - but anywaaaaay!) so does anyone know where you can get this brackets from and approx. cost?? Cheers
  14. you drive a hard bargain....but ok, a blowjob in place of delivery then! nah that's fair enough, pm replied!
  15. but you come into the city every other day right? haha ok maybe it's just easier to pay for delivery
  16. if the black one's bolt straight onto the R33GTST afm, please pm me the payment details. cheers dane
  17. anybody know if it's possible/easy/cheap to get a bracket to allow fitment of a GTR sized rotor (324mm) in place of a GTST rotor (296mm). its for an R33 if that matters. d'ya reckon a bracket from a GTR would be a simple bolt on? cos i'm thinking it would be a good upgrade to just buy the GTR rotors from here? edit: don't worry, i'm an idiot, obviously the calliper is not going to provide the correct contact surface for a bigger rotor anyhoo, can you put me down just for a set of regular slotted's for the front of a R33 (bills suck!)
  18. all together now! want brake lines more but will go both if you can organise it
  19. hey how far into the western suburbs are you? i live on the gold coast but work in the city....have a gf in coorparoo as well...help a brother out??
  20. no this was a couple of months ago! police should have been watching this guys account. have you contacted the police yet?
  21. damn they's weird looking tyres!! sorry off topic, but how do they handle, they look like a 'dirt' tread almost and soft.
