hey guys looking at purchasing a 33 series 2, however the guys says he only services every 10,000k, because he uses semi-synthetic oils everyone else claims to service theirs every 5,000k, using what i assume are synthetic oils whats the go? is it alright to only service every 10,000k? thanks

dude dont put it on ur dash, just put in in ur glove box and hardwire it in or something, assuming it beeps loud

hey guys just looking around at a few stockish 33 series2' my main criteria is buying something clean and reliable that hopefully will not blow up and die - what is the best inspection to get done on the car? is it worth it? lots of people say RACQ are good, anyone had this done? do they know imports? and everyone says to have it hoisted up and take a look at the bottom... problem is i have no idea wat to look for. do RACQ do this? OR is there a good local garage/guy in the brisbane area? just anyones opinions/experiences? ALSO - apart from common sense stuff (ive read the guide to first time buying thread), any way to check that the Ks are genuine??? because i cant beleive that a 10year old car has only done 60k, even 100k seems unlikely??? thoughts opinions thanks

whats it like mechanically. and honestally. any problems etc i got me 15.5k might be a bit less than u are looking for tho its gotta be a daily for me and not a complete bitch with the fuel, and i figure by keeping it mechanically stock u must be thinking along the same lines

lets face it, as far as performance cars go mose people are getting pretty damn good, considering they are 10+ years old, and most people would be driving more 'spirited' than the average mum in her Getz still a big chunk outta my wage with fuel prices going up

there was one in virgina for a bit, we never had enough cash tho, but we planned to go for a bit of paddock bashing get it nice and covered in mud then go (u get more time see) but yeh that never happened but now there is one on northside it might be time to give it a go

yeh mate in same situation, but i have my license for a year (i turned 18 yesterday) so a turbo for me as for NA 33s my mate has one and as the first car its f**king awesome u will have loads of fun i been looking at getting a fresh import (i dont have connections/dads mates) and i cant afford it, so im looking at a 2nd time low ks good condition (i have about 13k)

yeh im 17 at uni but are now working around 30 hours a week still saving for my machine hey its wat i want at this particular moment in time, i know its gonna be $12k car $2.5k insurance, 1k tyres, $100000k repairs but f**k it i dont have a gf or anything better to spend my money on, and i figure as long as i dont get into loans ill be sweet anyways it beats pissing/smoking it all up like my mates

price seems a little high (i wud be guessing 11 considering all the cheap 33s around now) but that all depends on the condition etc. also expect to get a little less for an auto but looks like a nice car good luck
