  4. 66 skyline gt - already sold em sorry mate chalon - ill take pics tonight for ya, the core is 600mm long by 300mm high and around 50mm wide so it should fit, but i dont run my standard engine fan i use twin thermos... is the GTR one single/double core? what size is it?

Apexi Blow off Valve $100 no adaptor, was on my custom piping so dunno what it fits Grex oil filter relocation kit/oil cooler SOLD! comes with two coolers just because i have one spare. Has earls braided lines aswell. HKS super dragger muffler SOLD in good condition... if my trouser snake was as big as this thing.... i can put pics up if i get interest in this stuff.... i also have some front struts with low springs (yellow konis) SOLD can arrange swap for some gear i need: timing belt cover, intercooler "hot pipe" (bit from turbo to cooler), crossover pipe (cast piece over engine) or complete standard intercooler piping from throttle body, radiator shroud, front bumper support, an aftermarket bov that is plumback. in ADELAIDE...
  7. i would like to know also.... my thoughts were that rb25 cooler piping was 2.5"and rb20 was 2"..... (p.s. i need to purchase one if someone has one in adelaide!)
  8. your cooler piping could be too big, there could be exhaust manifold leaks before the turbo, no preload on the wastegate, boost leaks etc etc. theres so many things that you can check your self first.
  9. forget the stoopid v8 idea mate and just go the jet engines like the MR2.... dunno bout fuel economy, but ull have great top end
  10. is the RH headlight the type with the circle in it i.e. late model? if so, any cracks/discolouration etc?
  11. yea i rekon im easy to convince... ill drive past one day after work & have a chat. I may have over reacted a tad because it would cost over 2grand just to change the setup to power Fc, and i dont exactly drive it every day anyway... Chris32-it says in ur sig that u were @ boostworx dyno day, i was on my way down there to check it out about a month ago, when i broke my bloody clutch bracket in 5 lanes of traffic!!!!! had 3 nosey/helpful cops pull over, and about 5 pass me in the 45min i was waiting for a tow...... i was sweatin up about getting defectd but it didnt happen! you wouldnt read about it!! but yer 191.4kw there is like 215kw @ tilbrooks
  12. i know it sounds gay but im not gonna say where it was simply because Adelaide is too small... i dont know anyone on here, and i dont know who could potentially have a read. A lot of the time people will generalise from one persons bad experience and then the chinese whispers start.... but yer, i have heard that Shaun @ boostworx is good and reasonably priced. It may pay to just get the microtech tuned! still havent heard of testimonys of good experiences with microtech on something that isnt a rotary.... ooooo i said rotary....stoopid lawn mowers

  14. its not that a power fc would fix the problem, i think the microtech just needs a remap, its just that the microtech is pretty inferior to the power fc in ways of fuel economy.... its what you need nowadays. i guess i could go back to place "x" but i am generally unhappy with the result of 200kw @ 17psi, poor economy, & bad cold start tuning. This is the reason for getting place "y" to have a look at the car, give it a run on the dyno and tell me their thoughts. all well, thanks for the responses ppl, ill let time figure out what im gonna do... its gonna sit in the shed over the silly season anyway, there are cops everywhere this time of year! it seems black is the new white, and imports are the new copbait
  15. it doesnt ping at all. yer the tuner said they could remap it for $660 from scratch, including cold start etc, but they didnt speak very highly of microtechs, and basically convinced me to try and get hold of a power fc and Z32 afm... so i might just leave it for a couple of months til i can find one, then go from there....
  16. what kind of fuel reg should be on there? i am going to get the fuel pump flow and pressure tested aswell....
  17. injectors max out at only 60% duty cycle,,,,,, lots of headroom..
  18. Howdy, just wondering about peoples opinions on this dyno chart. Are the a/f ratios too lean?? its an R32/rb20det/goodies: (HKS 2530/gtrpump/sard 550cc inj/microtech/cams/camgears/3"full zorst/etc) Thing is, it was tuned at place "x" and place "y" said its too lean to drive at full throttle. PI$$ed off because i have spent money already tuning, and i shouldnt have to spend more!
