  1. as for the cams, no idea if they fit rb25... but if ppl put rb26 ones in rb20 i dont see why they wouldnt fit. feel free to buy then try, and if it doesnt work just sell it on here again! haha... been offered $400 + postage, so first in best dressed.. $200 for the radiator? its not much to look at with all the stains, but its A1, didnt have to change the coolant for the whole time i had it in there!
  2. FORSALE i have a radiator that is core dimensions 50mmdeep by 630mmwide, 315mm high plus end tanks. it was on my R32 with a twin davies craig thermo fan setup. Note: slightly smaller in height than stock R32 radiator. I DONT KNOW WHAT THIS IS MEANT TO FIT. Worked fine on my car!..............$280 Also have cams for an rb20 engine... these are actually a miss-match setup, exhaust is slightly longer duration and more lift. intake: HKS 256 8.8mm lift exhaust: Tomei procam 264 9.2mm i was told by previous owner. They were in my engine which was stock apart from a hks 2530, and made 190rwkw on 12psi.........$500 for both .....Located in Adelaide
  3. For sale Xtreme 6 puck brass button clutch, very heavy pressure plate, not sure exactly, came out of my R32 skyline. It still worked perfect but i have my engine out so i may aswell get another clutch.... $120 ono there is still enough meat on this for at least 5000kms, pretty hard wearing item and held 220+rwkw easily. I also have a vertex front bar, that needs repair, it has been repaired in the past aswell, $50 ono. It IS repairable if your good with your fibreglass. I have seen bars in much worse shape repaired. Located in Adelaide
  4. more info on the head if it isnt sold Please!
  5. but the excel wouldnt have enough power to generate enough heat to melt it
  6. i got a vertex rear bar and front bar from speed dreamz in adelaide. The front bar fits OK, not perfect but the rear bar was totally UNACCEPTABLE. I dont think they should have been selling something so bad. They are cheap tho, and i guess you get what you pay for.
  7. duh where abouts are you locamated i need an rb20
  8. that sounded like milhouse, then bart
  9. i got 3inch piping on my rb20, and will gladly swap with anyone back to 2.5inch.
  10. timing belt is worn, it stretches and slaps against the cover. its very common in the rb20. It will be heard on idle, but when you rev it up the belt tightens and you cant hear it. Change it ASAP. If u have recently had the timing belt changed and all your other belts are OK, then it may be the lifters
  11. where ya from? any pics of the radiator?
  12. haha that bracket is harcore..... its almost like a bullbar with a cooler attached
  13. id say spark or fuel hahaha u need both for the car to run*duuuuh without taking it for a drive, the first things i would check would be coilpacks/ignition loom /ignitor & plugs DOUBT it would be fuel related but if it is it sounds electrical, not like ablockage i.e. fuel lines/filter. a dodgy sensor would do it i.e. AFM - may even be boost cut related? hard to tell, with what mods have been done to the car etc. but yeh the things that everyone mention are definitely the most common. Id start with the ignition side of things.
  14. SOOOO which is the oil pressure sender? im gathering that the two with the single wire coming out the side of the block are knock sensors, and the one inbetween them with a two-wire plug is the oil pressure sender? (and it has a rubber boot)??
  15. ahhh found the problem, it was the wiring behind the switch in the plug playing up! cheers folks
  16. my right hand headlight started playing up a few weeks back, and finally died. Heres the problem: -All globes are new and test ok. -i tried this:take the globe out, turn headlight switch on, plug a multi-meter into the terminals, it reads 12v. I plug the globe back in, it reads 0, then take globe out again, volts rise back up to 12v. WTF>? any ideas?
