1. Also would like to meantion that 10,000km ago i had the 100,000km service done This included timing belt, new water pump, all oils changed etc I also had a new 3" turbo back exhaust installed with 5" canon (i think its 5" anyways) I also had the all 4 shock absorbers replaced aswell with KYB shocks I also get all my services done at RPM Performance at Morayfield if you have any questions at all send me a pm
2. I have owned it since import. ive been the only Aus owner the only thing i can say is bad is the fact the drivers side frot corner has had rock damage and has touch up spray paint on it
3. Make: R32 Model: 4 Door Automatic Milage: 105000 (Just had 100k Service Done) Transmission: Automatic Colour: Black Location: Caboolture Complied? Yes RWC supplied? Can Get one when required Currently registered? Yes Price: $9000 ono Contact: 0488725030 Comments / Modifications: 3" turbo back exhuast, Pod Filter, and just the usual stereo etc. Images: The Interior now has an alpine cd player but that is the only change
4. The 400D is discontinued. 1000D is its replacement. but some features have been lowered on the new model. 450D is a much nicer camera and you get the IS lenses as part of the twin lens kit. either the 1000D or 450D will be a fantastic camera and no need to update for ages as SL!M said. you will upgrade your lenses before the camera. Just my 2c (even if its a couple of days late lol) Hope you enjoy it no matter your choice anyways
5. I might have to ask my Canon rep to get me a nice price on that lens hehe To be honest .. i need to buy a tripod too :S LOL
6. for $150 its awesome lol. (ive spent more on a night out on the town) and its kinda loud when focusing. (but thats cos its not a USM focus you can spend like $600-$1000 for a better one hehe) Mind you i would like a macro lens to get the detail that Sl!m is getting (im guessing its a macro lens cos my 50mm cant focus that close) But other then that i love the little lens. its awesome for portraits cos of the DOF with a f/1.8 anyways happy shooting
7. The reason they released the 1000D is to introduce entry level SLR camera's into the consumer market. Its very basic in SLR standards like all Entry level cameras. but the 1000D will eat all over the high end point and shoots. So for people who want a fully auto camera but also want the speed + accuracy = 1000D (also then later on when they learn more about cameras they can experiment
8. I can also vouch for RPM's work. Peter is very good at what he does.
9. To be honest with such a massive Megapixel if the sensor is still small you will actually get pixel bleed which kinda looks like "noise" However from memory the W300 in this situation has a slightly larger sensor and comes equiped with sony' new processor called Bionz. Which when i went to the sony seminar training for work the bionz looks like an awesome processor Just my 2 cents
10. No skyline pics im sorry lol. I just had a day off work today and was bored. So was mucking around with my camera this arvo and the other night (my first attempt at a moon photo with no tripod ) hope to see more of everyone elses pics P.S. I love playing with DOF with my cheapie 50mm prime f/1.8 lens
11. hey fullyhyper Just to let you know that the 400D no longer exists. it gets replaced with the 1000D at the end of this month. check out the canon website for the 1000D the 1000D is practially the same as the 400D however it has live view, uses the digic III processor, sd card instead of CF card, only 7 points of AF and a couple of other minor changes. It is also rumoured to retail at under $1000 IMO though live view on a SLR is a waste of time... kinda defeats the purpose of SLR camera's. heck out the 1000D though mate. it looks nice for a entry level camera
12. Some photo's taken with my 400d at home the gold coast and at mt tamborine. contructive critisism taken on board for future.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything However i just love your comment about getting stores to match the price of an "online store" and if they dont you tell them "to jump". i actually work for one of these "camera places" as you called it. People think that a $500 camera has like a $250 profit margin. this is far from the truth (and im not even just talking about the "cost" im taking into consideration all the bulk buying prices and all the rebates that manufactures give companies) I always try and give my customers the best price, i even search other people catalogues and make sure im always the cheapest yet i always have people come and waste my time with internet prices. this is not a true comparison to buying something from within a store. online shopping you can get some awsome prices dont get me wrong. however buyer beware. cheap imports do exist!! also with internet place you may get a manufacturer warranty but its your responsibility to organise everything. Now my customers get the added service of a quick instore demo on how to use their new camera etc. if they ever have any problems they can come and speak to me directly and i will always make sure they get good results. plus the warranty they just bring it to me and we make sure it gets sorted out. Now im all for shopping around and "getting the best price" but its not always about the bottom dollar. the after service is also important. Anyways thats the end of my rant
14. I know this is an old thread but yeah. I sell all these cameras and the canons are probably the best camera in in my opinion. I have the 400D myself but i spent the extra money and got the twin IS kit. (has slightly better lenses and they are image stabilized) also some nice lenses for starts is a 50mm prime lens (50mm f/1.8 is a nice one it has a nice wide aperture for nice depth of field effects and lets lots of light in low light conditions. and only retails for $149 come see me at JBhi fi strathpine ) The 450D has been short stock because of the limited stock of the 50-250mm IS lens there is plenty of stock of the camera and 18-50 IS lens. this shortage ends at the end of this month. Also the new 1000D gets release the last week of august maybe wont reach stores until the first week of september. Anyways i just felt like typing all of this. for all the new people learning about SLR's canon have a nice tutorial on there site. Teaches you a little about Tv Av and manual modes on your camera. Try this link : http://www.canon.com.au/eos/tips/shootingpanoramas.aspx Have a good time with your cameras guys Have a good one Mitchell
