I don't see how starting your car and letting it idle at any time could possibly be detrimental to your engine. A waste of fuel maybe. but yeah, what they all said re running off boost for a few minutes. I usually wait till engine temp gauge hits mid point.

Strange looking accident though, another car involved (Bluebird?) but I couldn't figure out what happened because it looked like the other car had significant front end damage too. Sorry, no pics.

Looking to get a couple of new tyres for the stag. Tyre size is 235/45/17 (if i recall correctly!). Last place i went was Tyre Power on Magill Rd, I've been told Blackwood Tyre Power is a good place to go to. Any ideas where i should go? Looking to spend about $100-$150 per tyre. Recommendations on reasonable priced vendors? thanks.

Spotted chef_stagea, is that what my xenons look like at night! Just picked up the missus from airport so couldn't really play. Would have liked to as just had the hi flow cat and 3" cat back put on. Did you know who was in the dark r33 that was looking for it?

Not quite but yeah, helps if you have a boost gauge, half-turn at a time and check psi. I'm running mine on 10psi.

Pretty sure all the stag's (autos included) with the attessa awd system run 95% rear and 5% front until it loses traction then it goes up to 50/50. Easiest way to find out is to find a patch of gravel or dirt and stomp on the throttle i suppose! They're pretty hard to break traction on tarmac, well, the autos are.

Good point. I've been worried about the size of the spare for awhile now. Running 235/45/17's and if i ever have a flat the space saver won't do very well until i fix the blowout. Been toying with the idea of getting a cheap 17" rim to chuck in the back... wonder if it's fit the spare tyre well... (sorry for hijack!)

Well I'm well pleased with the end product. Exhaust note is very subtle with only a hint of "RB" until I give it a bit and it howls away nicely, not too loud, just the way i was hoping. A little stuffing around according to Daryl from Everlast to make the cat back fit but nothing major. Highly recommend them if you're around the area, they've now done quite a few Stag's. And if anyones wants a stock standard Series 2 cat+catback exhaust, $50 and it's yours.

If yours is an RS4 (i.e. 4wd) as long as your front and back are the same rolling dimension it should be alright. Out by 10kph is a lot though!

Bad luck with the car, I live around there too. But how did you figure out a particular nationality and yet not know height/build/etc. Generalising a bit are we?
