  1. The standard SA plates on my S2 fit fine front and back.
  2. Top half uses a lot more fuel then bottom half. I think you'll find the bottom half of fuel will go through quickly. I get 200-220 for the top half.
  3. I really don't think he has any 'say' on what cc you have but my guess is he probably wasn't meant to give you the loan with your credit rating. Credit cards are seen as debt even if you don't owe anything on them. If i have a $15000 credit limit on my card and owe $10, when i apply for a loan it will be considered a $15000 debt and hence my loan probably won't be approved. But if he's already approved your loan then i don't see the problem.
  4. Don't worry, turns out the caps come off.
  5. As the topic and description states, i have said battery which has a battery state indicator (green -ok, black -recharge and clear -add water). It's currently showing clear but it is one of those low maintenance batteries that doesn't have the openings to add water. How do i add water to it? Or is it the end of the battery? linky http://www.exide.com.au/products/index.php
  6. Who in Adelaide would you trust to do your conversion?
  7. I would love to keep my stag in the long run but it sure is hurting the wallet, even more so for most of us then pixel8r who seems to have a pretty fuel efficient S2 as it is. For me... 1. Performance and reliability CANNOT be compromised. That's why we bought the car in the first place right. 2. How safe is it? Having a gas tank sitting behind the child car seat... 3. Additional running cost, not just cost of lpg. 4. Total cost and time to recoup. If pixel8r's cost estimate is accurate'ish, and the above satisfies, i'm sold, where do i sign.
  8. I've definitely noticed the car is less responsive with the a/c on. Haven't notice the a/c switching off when i floor it though. It definitely knows not to turn the a/c on when starting as it is a few secs before the a/c turns on after starting the car. but i still turn it off before switching off and make sure is off when warming up the car. But i'm old school like that..!
  9. Sounds easy enough, but doesn't that mean if anything happened to the car (fines etc) the coppers will come to the house?
  10. Looks good! Thanks!
  11. Thanks. How do I set the TV to AV1? On screen or somewhere else?
  12. Has anyone successfully hooked up their mp3 player to the Xanavi unit? I'm assuming it's one of the 2 inputs on the bottom left of the face. Thanks.
  13. So sorry to hear. Hope the court case will go well for both of you. I'm assuming you're also claiming through the Dept of Fair Trading as well. I myself is in dispute ("only" $2500 but it is a lot of money to me) with the dealer that sold me my car with a warped head gasket which i had to get fixed within the Vic. stat 3 month warranty. Going through VCAT and Dept of Fair Trading. Please PM me the dealer involved. Cheers.

  15. Has anyone tried the Flashlube Injector Cleaner stuff from Repco? About $10 a bottle of concentrate (250ml) that treats 5 x 50L tanks. I've only done half tank and it's looking promising so far. http://www.flashlube.com.au/en/injectorcleaner/index.html
  16. Interested in the wing mirrors if you're willing to seperate from doors. But they have to be in perfect working condition, mine just keep folding in bit by bit at high speed!
  17. Must be hard to type with your tongue you retard you.
  18. No worries. I've forwarded the petition to the entire office so wait for the ball to start rolling. Unfortunately it looks like the online petition is limited to the single IP address so they'll have to sign in from their home computer since i've already signed it.
  19. Good work Howie! Having worked on both the initial proposal that was rejected by ACC and the demountable structure that is now proposed, it is such a shame that this development has been stopped. There's no other city in the world that has the potential to access so many major events from within 10mins from the CBD. To have the ability to walk to the cricket, tennis, festival centre, convention centre, and what would have been the horse racing and motor racing, would have given such a boost to the life to the city. It is of upmost importance that Adelaide is city centric to keep moving forward. Thing is, the SAJC will probably end up moving out of Vic Park altogether which means the eye-sores that are the dilapidated buildings along Fullarton and Wakefield Rds that are there will be there to stay. All this because of the very influential East End residences that consider Vic Park as their own personal back yard. p.s. jeez that's a pretty old image you have there Howie! i'll post up a slightly more updated image if interested.
  20. This might sound crazy but... maybe ring Regency and ask?
  21. You're using that Magic 8 Ball again aren't ya?
  22. I suspect it might be cause we have the seat in the middle and have to lean in somewhat to get her in/out. The wheel cleaner stuff just marks anything that brushes the wheel so easily!
  23. Thanks guys!
