Yeah speed doesn't kill... it's the sudden deceleratation that gets you every time. I'm guessing 200 in a 80 zone has a far higher chance of killing yourself or someone else when compared to 80 in a 80 zone. If you say otherwise then you're dreamin... and have fun on the 'other side'.

I went for the S2 because i thought of the extra 30kw and better fuel consumption. I think the Neo engine is worthy of the extra you pay, if you can get one for a fairly good price. I've driven an S1 and thought it was very nice too though so meh..

But I was under the imppression that the 50/50 diff lock just starts off at that ratio instead of 95/5 AND still distribute torque accordingly.

One thing i've been wondering, is it faster off the line with 50/50 torque split or let it work out the distribution?

Was it a simple bolt on aftermarket number?

Hi, When I take ownership of the car, it will have a busted lock on the front drivers side. Doors still lock/unlock with the remote but if you try to unlock the door with the key it's no go. Someone has tried to break into the car and busted the lock i think. I'll most probably install an alarm/immobiliser asap which would be linked to the door locks obviously so I don't see the need to unlock the car with a key very much, so I could do nothing at all. But I just wanted to know how easy/hard, cheap/expensive it would be to replace the lock. I would have to order the original lock from Japan? Do I have to go through Nissan?

Sorry if this is a noob question, what exactly does this deflector do in terms of performance? Especially interested for Stageas.

Currently my N14 Pulsar Ti has a K&N pod which sounds pretty cool too, but i don't want to stuff around with a CAI and heatshield with the Stagea so I'll definitely be going an aftermarket filter in the standard box. Went to Repco on Payneham Rd and none of the guys there had heard of Pipercross before. They have the K&N one there though... $129. Thought that was pretty exxy. Anyone know where I can get Pipercross in Adelaide?

Hi, From what I've read on this forum, the choice for a high flow panel filter is between the Pipercross and K&N. Where and what type/size do I get that would suit?
