  1. I got this when I bought my Dolphin style front bar for my S2 from Blits Bodykits, QLD. I've now decided to stick with the original grill so this is up for sale. Grill has been professionally painted to match the stock KR4 silver, and is absolutely brand new, not a scratch on it. You'll need to drill holes on the back to secure it in place as per normal with this fiberglass kits I understand. $150 pickup (at this stage) unless you can point me in the right direction to post/courier. Located in Payneham.
  2. hey rubes, that's them stagea gods trying to tell you not to sell!
  3. c'mon adam! surely you want to take that twin blower of yours out! rain forcasted this weekend unfortunately...
  4. Just got a call back from LSV and was told they no longer insure daily drivers. Oh well, their loss.
  5. ahaha! i tell the little one it'll gobble her up if she's not careful! i was thinking the same thing. but they're fantastic shots though. i wish i had the capability to shoot like that.
  6. I've agreed with the Mrs we'll trial this one for a bit because it's still lower then she's comfortable with. Sorry!
  7. ^^ Looks good Brendan. Here's one of mine with the new bar and eye lids.
  8. Was going to say, i don't think any of their stuff is ADR approved actually.
  9. It was an insurance jobbie so i don't know final cost. Bar delivered from QLD was about $600. Original Dayz bar was going to cost around $3k from japland. according to the panel guys it was a bit of a pain to mount but all in all a fairly decent piece of fiberglass. Needed all the connections drilled and bolts put on which delayed things a bit.
  10. Just got my car back from Norwood Panel Works, Kent Town where they fixed my front guard and new front bar (fiberglass jobbie from Blits Bodykits in QLD) and i'm quite happy with their work. Linky to my pics in the Stagea thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4527240
  11. Fixed. Couldn't get the plastic bit off, but i traced the wire release to a catch under the dash and pushed it all the way in with a screw driver which released the foot brake. Brake light is off now so it's good. Would like to know how to tighten up that wire though, it felt quite loose.
  12. As the title suggest, my foot brake is stuck. The brake light is on but i don't think the brakes actually engaged as it'll still roll forward in D without any pedal pressure. I usually never use the foot brake as it has occasionally been a bit sticky but has always returned with a bit of pulling. Now it won't budge at all. Is this an easy fix that i can do myself? I'm just worried that i may forget it's broken, push it all the way in and engage the brakes with no way of disengaging them.
  13. haha! i see what you mean. I like my things straight and square like that so it suits me Tell you what though, i'm glad i got them to paint the mesh inserts matt black before putting them on. They came in a silver that would have just looked strange.
  14. Here are the pics taken this morning, a bit of (amateur) pp work done in photoshop. Couldn't help myself It's actually not as low as i thought, it sticks out a bit more then the Dayz that's why it looks lower then it is. Drove it around town/bp/maccas this morning and didn't scrape anything. Basically as long as i remember to slow right down and approach any dip at a slight angle, it's all sweet. Very happy with Norwood Panel Works jobbie too, can't tell the paint difference can you! [atta chment=216661:4.jpg][attachment =216664:7.jpg]
  15. It's alright if you drive around pretty careful anyway. As long as it's pretty slow there's no probs. Will leave it on for a couple of weeks till the Dayz bar is fixed and then decide. Might either have this one or the Dayz one for sale then.
  16. Well got the car back. The paint job is very good, blends in perfectly. The front bar looks very nice if i may say so myself. Eyelids are on as well but i opted for the original grill at the end. Might still do a swap later as they painted the dolphin grill anyway, and it doesn't look too hard to do. Only problem is our driveway is quite high and unless i go really slow and at an angle, it scrapes. I'll have to watch out for those spoon drains! I will post some pics tomorrow.
  17. mrs did that awhile back, all i had to do was fill it up with a 5L can and it started with no probs. easier done then you think, there's not much leeway between light on and all out with these cars! unless you got siphoned overnight!
  18. I would have thought if you're getting a NA version, speed wouldn't be the first point in deciding, and you wouldn't be modding it illegally. Comfort would be more important on the other hand, hence R34 would be your better choice. IMO the R34 looks less dated then the Supra. It'll boil down to personal choice at the end of the day right.
  19. You hoons you. Agreed, the last thing these wagon cruises need is for some cowboy to spoil it for everyone. Up for a relaxing cruise too. Pretty keen on easter long weekend sometime. Should (fingers crossed) have the car back from the panel shop by then.
  20. this is like watching a soapie...
  21. What front bar is that? OLooks v clean overall. Nice one! Looking forward to cruise too, maybe easter long weekend sometime Adam?
  22. just thought i'd add that the 4c/L saving still can be used in conjunction with this offer. And if you spend > $2 in the station you get another 2c off the price. Pretty good deal really... shame i have a p.o.s. loan car (old camry) from the panel shop
  23. I think we'd all be lying if we said we never went over the speed limit. Sure, not 90+kph over but 20+kph over can lead to deaths as well. Well that's the thing, a lot of the time we think it's just a straight stretch of road, what could possibly go wrong... True that.
  24. shit... if that isn't a wake up call to those of us who like the occasional squirt on the roads (me included) then i don't know what is. Condolences to their respective families.
  25. Whatever you can be bothered to post up i reckon we'd be happy with!
