  1. Lame... unless it said "l33t"
  2. Funny you should mention that, my overflow bottle was empty too. Radiator was full though. Topped up the overflow bottle with demineralised water and all's well.
  3. does it have a ding as well?? What are you saying Mike? Chris has put on weight??
  4. that is one..... fcken.... sxy... stagea. Nice buy.
  5. Nah didn't work... i was wondering what you were on!
  6. Thanks mike, that's pretty much it. Here's one i found as well, but it had the whole middle lip chopped off for the fmic so i photoshopped it back in.
  7. Does anyone have a picture of a S2 with the Dolphin front bar & grill, with eyelids. Parts have arrived at the panel shop and car is booked in next month. I was just wondering what it'll look like once fitted!
  8. Show off!
  9. Cool, if you rememeber to tell them... and also tell Eddy I'm waiting for his call to book me in!
  10. Hey Adam, I wonder if Norwood Crash Repairers know that your silver is the same as mine... might be worth mentioning to them. Pretty sure it's the same silver isn't it? (S1 260rs and S2 RS4)
  11. That price also includes 12months rego, 3 yrs warranty, 12 months roadside asistance, free delivery anywhere in Oz. Take all that away i reckon you'd be able to drop the price down.
  12. Will be there, hopefully bodywork will be done by then.
  13. Yeah? I'm sure he said 135kw but maybe i heard wrongly. He couldn't print it out as he needed a new printer head! Mods is hi-flow panel filter, turbo back 3" exhaust, hi flow cat, mbc @ 9psi.
  14. ^^^ ouch
  15. I think you'll find a few that are untouched!
  16. Araldite, the stuff you have to mix up. When I bought a 2nd hand replacement, half the part which clips on the car had broken off so i Araldite'd the whole thing to the car. That shield ain't going no where.
  17. What are they charging?
  18. That's right, no bull. Actually, came back cheaper then what was initially quoted. Beat that.
  19. Yep mines a RS4 (AWD) but their dyno is only 2wd so they dropped the shaft. Shaun mentioned 135rwkw is normal for the minor mods mine had, with all running well. Shaun and Troy have a couple of new guys there too, another mechanic (Andrew?) and an aprentice mech (Alex?). Both good blokes. They're still pretty busy but at least it's not that long a wait to book it in now! What I like about them is I don't have to worry about them ripping me off, they'll only do the work required and charge accordingly. A bit of a hike from where I am (Payneham) but well worth the trek. I only wish they have eftpos! Cash only hurts the bank like crazy.
  20. Had the 100k service done at Boostworx yesterday, belts, water pump, all fluids, diff, gearbox, attessa, brakes etc. I did my own oil and oil filter so that wasn't needed. They also fixed my dodgy front/dump pipe install and reseated the O2 sensor properly (didn't quite go all the way in before due to wrong thread on JJR's pipe). Car is now running like new, purring along beautifully, gear changes are much quicker and smoother. Couldn't be happier. If anyone has been putting it off, do it, do it now, worth every cent! They also put it on the dyno, 135rwkw. Total cost incld. 3 new bulbs, $1050. Just thought I would share. EDIT: Forgot to add that they changed the plugs too (supplied by me)
  21. Nah... $3k to get one from Japland. Not completely fecked! I should know...
  22. Norwood Panel Works will be doing my front bar soon, I'll keep you posted.
  23. Budget option is to find a 2nd hand r33 bolt on exhaust and get the shop to fit it for you. Pain in the arse but doable. Cost me $150 for fitting my FGK cat back from a 33 on my s2.
  24. 6KM/L? Wow, I thought the M35's were heaps better with fuel consumption. That equates to about 16.5L/100KM. Maybe you need to replace o2 sensor?
  25. ahahahaa! No worries then. I've gone ahead and ordered the kit. Along with a couple of dolphin eyelids to match. Hopefully the panel shop won't have too much problems getting it painted and fitted.
