  1. I want to know! Any links with pics? Adam?
  2. That's right. But I thought you had to pay for them to come back over the bridge? The "Return Toll" as stated on this link. (http://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/taxi/fares.html) It'll cost you about $50-$60 i reckon. Can we place bets??
  3. Nice! Next cruise I'll have to come for a ride!
  4. hey brendon, yeah it all went well, both bub and mrs are well. The 3 yr old isn't too impressed everyones attention has shifted away from her ofcourse. Adam, maybe it is quite a bit cheaper then what i was thinking. If you have gear to lug around as well, and you're travelling on a Sunday probably cabbing it would be your best bet. Just don't lose your license on the drive back now!
  5. The little voice in my head... oh wait, that's the 2 week old baby screaming
  6. It cost me over $50 just to get from the domestic airport to the city (Wynyard) but that was during peak hour. It'll be another $20 from City to Lane Cove. But if it's the weekend that you're going, it'll be much quicker and cheaper. Don't forget if you catch a taxi you're slugged the bridge toll too. Catch a train will be about $15 each (Chris is going too yeah?) But a cab would be about I'm guessing $50 to LAne Cove. In saying that, whereis.com staes it's only a 19min drive from Syd Domestic Airport to Lane Cove. Seems a bit quick. Yeah, wish I could go too!
  7. take a train from airport into Central ($12 from memory) and change there to catch another train to North Sydney. Then catch a cab from Nth Syd station. You might even be able to get off somewhere closer to Lane Cove, just ask when you buy your train ticket. I lived in Syd for 5yrs.
  8. Wouldn't have a clue! I took the pic so if i needed to remove the tt mbc i could.
  9. This what you're after?
  10. Thats actually probably a good idea. But i don't fancy your chances getting them thru airport security on the way there. Maybe buy som bottles of octane booster at your first pitstop in case you can't find pulp in woop woop.
  11. Adam, nice one, would love to see some pics. Make sure you swing by so i can have a ride!
  12. Cool, i'll try that. Don't need to rev the engine or anything?
  13. Is your S1 standard?
  14. Is there an easy way to check if it's leaking between the flanges of dump and cat? Would there be a noticeable hissing sound when idling?
  15. heya chris, yeah that's what i was hoping. It was the the middle closest to me that wouldn't do up. The weld is in the way i reckon. I added a thin layer of exhaust cement so hopefully that would help. love the spooling up sound now though i just automatically assume the worst as i'm pretty rubbish when it comes to things like that!
  16. Well I've just done mine, 3" Bellmouth front/dump from JJR. Wasn't too bad i suppose, would have been easier if I had someone to help though. Couple of tings that I'm a bit concerned about. 1. Boost definitely sounds louder (i.e. whistling sound) and comes on quicker too, but definitely higher pitch? Is that aright? 2. The O2 sensor couldn't tighten up all the way, it's tight but there is about 2 more turns to go all the way... i.e. the o ring is loose. Badly machined threads from the JJR dump pipe? Is this a problem, as it is tight anyway? I don't think there's any leakage. 3. I only managed to put back the main heat shield with 2 bolts out of 5. Nothing to tighten it too. It's secure. But the rest of the pipe doesnt have any heat shield/wrapping? Should it? 4. Only managed to put on 5 of the 6 bolts back to turbo, one of them just refused to catch. Others are on pretty tightly, will there be leaks? Cheers. Nick.
  17. Interesting, when using the auto function, if cruising at 100-110kmh, if you flick the auto gear to the left (tiptronic) the rev increases even though it's still in 4th, flick it back to auto and the revs drop straight away.
  18. Hi Ryan, 100k service is here. Are you free this week or weekend? Cheers!
  19. Hi Ryan, Did you get my PM about servicing my S2 stag? Any chance you can fit it in this week/weekend? PM please, cheers!
  20. I always thought running 91ron and 95ron fuel was not very good for a 98ron car? Seems to be a few people running 95ron in their stags.

  22. Anyone know whose white Legnum with '3AM Graphic Design' graphics on it parked along Payneham Rd belongs to? Pass it all the time, nice looking wagon buddy.
  23. Well I'll be damned... I've had the last week off work and managed 11.9L/100km in one tank with the occasional boost but otherwise very wary of being light footed. Usually the mrs drives it 5-6 days a week and I get 13.5-14L/100km. What a difference the driver makes!
