hey guys need to know a good reputable place for an engine rebuild or replacement depending on what i can get away with. preferrably somewhwere that has done a few and know what they're doin. also i live in the south eastern suburbs so the closer to there the better if anyone can help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

hi guys just a few questions, unfortunately it turns out my r34 needs a new bottom end to get it back on the road. the head is fine. ive heard u can replace r33 bottom ends with VL bottom ends, is this the same case or are the 34 engines different? i really just need to know where i can get a r34 bottom end or somthing that i can substitute it for. is there any dealers i could go through that sell engines or watever or am i going to just have to look around for somone selling 1? and any idea on a rough price for the part? thanks

hey guys where just wondering where can i pick up a new head gasket for a R34gtt standard engine. and do the gaskets from 33's fit? my cars been in the shop for ages and the retard mechanic cant find 1 til the end of the month. also would anyone have an approximate price for wat it should b to replace a conrod, bearing, crank polish and head gasket? the guy hasnt given me a price but if anyone can give me a ballpark sorta figure would be much appreciated. thanks

hi guys was drivin my r34 gtt auto yesterday for the first time after a full service. was cruisin down the freeway and heard a knocking noise. pulled over after about 500meters and realised the oil was realy low and thin. i had only driving the car for about 30mins and had stopped for about 15 mins in between aswell so wasnt a great deal of time. wasnt thrashin it to much either and when came in i was just coasting. walked to the closest servo and got a bottle of oil hopin this might help it. put in about a litre and a half and it came up slightly overfull. got rid of the knockin when it was idling. racv came out and told it was big engine knock or somthing along those lines and said im going to need an engine replacement. just a few questions. 1. is this the only option for me? or can i get a rebuid or something of the like. also how much would these cost and anywhere you could recommend? 2. would the oil being very low be the reason or is there somthing else that could have been the problem? and if it is just the oild do i hav a leg to stand on in asking the mechaic to fix it? 3. if im goin to replace the engine wat would b the price difference in doing a 3litre conversion and maybe a manual conversion? thanks guys

hi guys just wondering if a r33 exhaust would fit a 34 both coupe and turbo. and if it does wat is needed to be done if anything. also does anyone know where i can get a 34 gtt exhaust turbo back in melbourne? all the 1's ive looked up seem to be discontinued or catback. and 33gtr coilovers to a 34 gtt? thanks guys

hi guys i've just recently bought a completely stock r34 turbo-auto. im planning on buying a 3.5" exhaust and boost controller. what do u think should be the next step after that to give it that bit mor performance while remainin on a budget of a few grand. thanks

hey guys, new to the forums. was looking into getting a skyline. 1 that caught my eye is a s1 r33 that has had an engine conversion to a 3ltr bottom with a gtr head. with forged internals. just wondering how good this actually is and is there anything else that should b done when doing a conversion. also it was done by racing line performance in cheltenham victoria. are they any good? also my other option was either a stock r33 gtr prefer not to spend that much... or a wrx maybe thanks guys
