  1. It has only done around 1500kms, going to have to get it looked at I guess. Should I drive the car or should I play it safe?
  2. Yeah it still disengages fine, it just seems hesitant from a standing start. It is a grind/rattle. Also I've noticed, the revs tend to be slightly higher than usual when this happens, it usually idles on around 1000, but it hovers at 1100-1200 when the problem occurs. If the car is moving and I put it in 1st/2nd, it is absolutely fine. However, once hot, standing starts are a nightmare (and its not coz im noob and can't drive a twin plate, it was fine until recently.)
  3. Hi Guys, I have an R32 GTR with twin plate clutch (ogura.) Now it has been fine but recently I noticed that once the car has warmed up a bit (the problem does not occur at all when cold), I hear a grinding sound as I release the clutch. It is like something isn't disengaging properly or there is some sort of resistance, it sounds like metal friction, a low grinding sound. This is not the normal twin plate rattle which I hear when i simply press the clutch pedal. Oh also it only really happens in 1st and 2nd, after it happens, it can be harder than usual to take the car out of 1st gear, sometimes 1st gear is stuck for a second or 2. Please help. Thanks.
  4. R33s are the new VLT. So get used to some owners being tools.
  5. Will also keep an eye out buddy. Hopefully it turns up. A few people have mentioned kill switches etc. I have an unlockable steering wheel. Only way mine will get stolen is if its towed (and I try and park it so its impossible or very hard for it to get towed.)
  6. You weren't clear on this, I just thought I'd clarify if for noobs
  7. Ofcourse SOME of it will be fat, you can't put on 10kgs of pure muscle in 20 weeks without roids! So it isn't realistic.... Also you don't need to get a whole lot stronger to be putting on size, nor do you need to get a lot bigger to gain strength. This is why bodybuilders can be huge, but RELATIVELY weak, whereas, powerlifters can way 60odd kgs and bench, squat and deadlift a whole lot more.
  8. yeah true, but i was mainly refering to the clowns you see in Fitness First etc, the 60-80kg guys that make 50kg guys do 10 sets of bicep curls to "get massive" haha and they say don't squat or deadlift because its bad for your back hehe.
  9. Pay is crap unless you run your own business. Course is a waste of time, you won't learn much, just get a piece of paper that makes you a PT. Good points: You make money because people are stupid. Bad point: You probably don't know enough to genuinely help others. (Assuming you are newish to training) Because most PTs I see have really average bodies and use "commercial" style training, which doesn't get you too far.

    Ideas..?

You made a general statement champ....would she wanna go back. But now you know for sure? Make up your mind. I couldn't care less if you know her lol, I'm just saying, one would not regret going from an R34 GT-T to an R33 or R32 GTR.

Obviously you haven't driven a GTR. I sold my 34 GT-T and bought an R32 GTR. Have never looked back. And 25k, I would JUMP on it, I sold mine for 22k, mint condition and more mods. Market sucks.
  12. Hi everyone, Just a heads up, the Caltex on Taylors Rd, Keilor Downs/St Albans near the Roadworks at Keilor Plains Stations (not the one near Delahey Maccas!) has run out of regular unleaded and is selling Vortex 98 @ 1.21. Just filled up! They are open till 10pm so a good chance for locals to fill up if you haven't done so already. Cheers.
  13. Yep, sounds like its gone. Same thing happened to me! Well at least this is a good excuse to upgrade everything in a rebuild...(yes I am an optimist.)
  14. Yep. In my experience this is the case. Especially if you've changed your lifters etc.
  15. Come on tech guys! Surely someone can tell if they're the bigguns or the smalls?
