Sorry to resurrect an old thread but it looks like this never got resolved. I have the EXACT same problem. It started ever since I installed an RB25Turbo on my RB20DET with a stock BOV. At first I thought it was due to an air leak, but I fixed it with no success. I have also recently cleaned my AFM and AAC Valve. I was having idle hunting issues before I installed the turbo, and this was solved by cleaning the AAC Valve. Is it possible that it or something else could have become clogged up again while running the new turbo in? I have also tried reseting my ECU with no luck. I notice at idle that the vacuum reading on my boost guage seems to fluctuate slightly, don't know if this is the problem, or a symptom. Any ideas? -

Replied to both enquiries via PM. Due to the high frequency of picture requests I will provide them for everyone. To answer questions about fitting the Fog Lights, my Front Bar is plastic and of a different colour to the rest of the car (I bought the car with this already on). So I do not know for certain if it is factory standard. Hopefully the pics can help you out. Regards, Steve. -

Yep definitely, as I said mine has been fine. I am not 100% sure about this but I would assume that the stock computer would compensate for the increased air flow. So a tune may not be necessary. But I would wait for someone to confirm this as I am not positive, i'm still learning

Hi mate, I just did this upgrade so I thought I would reply. First of all, all you will need for the RB25 Turbo upgrade is the Rb25 Turbo + Rb25 Turbo elbow, thats it. Its a simple install, and if you are planning on putting a turbo on anyway I would suggest going with the RB25 Turbo if you can find one at a right price. People talk about an increase in lag, and while this is likely to be true due to the increased size, it is not noticeable. I feel that the benefits in power far outweigh this anyway. It is definitely worth doing. Oh, and I don't know about tuning the car after doing this upgrade. The most I did was an ECU reset. Don't know if it did anything but I did it for good measure. The car is running fine after the upgrade apart from an intermittent idle issue, but I don't think it is related.

I had the exact same symptoms as you after pulling everything apart for a turbo upgrade (pulsing idle when stationary with car warmed up). In my case it turned out to be an air leak. Check all vacuum hoses connected to the crossover pipe and intake manifold for broken/split ends. Also check your Intercooler piping and make sure there are no leaks after the AFM. Definitely clean your AAC Valve regardless as many have mentioned.

Hi JiN_MaN, I've got the Stock R32 Side Intercooler left over from a front mount install I did. I had to reuse my Hot Pipe + Hose from the turbo but I still have the piping from the Turbo pipe to Intercooler, and intercooler to crossover pipe + brackets and air scoop. Item: R32 Dump Pipe + 3" Front Pipe Set Condition: Good, apart from a small dent on underside of Front Pipe. Price: $40 + Postage O.N.O Contact: Steve Location: Toowoomba, Queensland For Sale is my previously used R32 GTS-T Dump + 3" Front Pipe. Both pieces are made from mild steel, and bolt straight on between the stock R32 Turbo and Cat. The Dump pipe appears stock, and connects to the 3" Front pipe. The Front Pipe has a bracket welded to it for secure mounting at the Cat. I am selling because I upgraded to a Stainless Steel, Split Dump/Front Pipe exhaust. I will include the required bolts, nuts and washers for connecting the Dump-to-Front, and Front-to-Cat, as well as the gaskets for the Dump Pipe.

Yep, i'm with Fixxxer. I had the exact same problem with my R32 GTS-T when I got it. Just pry the switch out of the door trim and open it up. As Fixxxer said, be careful. Keep the switch horizontal to the ground to keep the loose metal contacts from falling out. You can then clean each metal piece and its contact with fine sandpaper, a screwdriver, whatever, and put it back together again.

I notice the exact same thing with mine, could it be normal for a R32 GTS-T. My oil pressure does however rise to 4 after it has fully warmed up though.
