  1. I have the exact same problem with my R32 GTS-T. Did a search and found this thread. I found that if I hold the gear firmly into reverse - the lights come on. If I let it sit in reverse as normal - they dont come on. Did anyone end up finding a solution?
  2. Nice. I got my old auto 4cyl 1990 Magna TP down from stock 14seconds to 10seconds after basic stage 1 mods. Makes me feel disappointed with my R32 time .
  3. 6K Launch? Holy Crap, how did you control the wheel spin? :laughing-smiley-014:
  4. Hahaha. I wonder about mine aswell. During my 0-100km/h runs, the G-Tech seems to reach 100km/h before my Speedo. So either the accelerometers in the G-Tech are more accurate than my Speedo (possible), or it is the other way around . So far I am the slowest R32 on here. We need more 0-100km/h times people
  5. I'm using a GTech Performance Meter/Pro. I think its a cheapy but it does the job. Yea, I definitely need more practice, this is my first time driving a manual. What would be an ideal RPM to launch at? The best time I could achieve was when launching at 3,000RPM, but I seem to get too much wheel spin.
  6. This question goes out to all the R32 GTS-T owners on this Forum. What is your best 0-100km/h time? My R32 is pretty much stock as a rock apart from: - Apexi Pod Filter - GKTech 3" Stainless Exhaust (Split Dump Pipe) - TurboTech Boost Controller (Boosted to 13psi for my run) The best I managed to do in 3 runs was 7.4 seconds, and that was with alot of wheel spin :laughing-smiley-014: . I have read that a new stock R32 GTS-T should be able to do 0-100km/h in 6.9seconds, although this would be brand new and under perfect conditions. My manual skills are not fully developed at this stage as I have only just become a Skyline owner. I am interested in the times that other R32 GTS-T owners have been able to manage, and with what mods? To those who complain about measuring 0-100km/h times: Any speed over 100km/h is impractical for street use
  7. Thanks for the replies guys, I really appreciate it. Your friendly advice reflects on how great this Forum is, especially for new comers like me. I will keep my eye out on the Classifieds of this forums, and the usuals like carsales, and carpoint. Any other places I should look? Hopefully I will become a Skyline driver in the not too distant future.
  8. Thanks for giving it to me straight 32vspecII. I guess I will have to be cautious. I would prefer an R33 GTS-T, but am unsure as to the chances of finding one in good condition within my price range. I am interested in hearing from anyone who was in a similar situation to mine.
  9. Thanks for the reply Jake33, Have you had any problems with your r33 gts-t? Also, any known problems with it when you bought it?
  10. Hello all you experienced Skyline drivers. I am new to the scene and am after a clean, reliable Skyline for around $11,000 after haggling. Can this be done? I have been considering my options: 1. Get a R32 GTS-T 2. Get a R33 GTS 3. Get a R33 GTS-T This question has been posed to you guys because you would have a better idea on what I can expect from each category with the money I am prepared to part with. Some questions on my mind: - What are the chances on a 1990 R32 GTS-T being reliable these days? - Can I get a nice R33 GTS in that price range? - I realise $11,000 is low for a R33 GTS-T, so are cars in that price range likely to be thrased, unreliable lemons? I guess I am trying to ask what option you would go with if you had $11,000 for a Skyline. I greatly appreciate any replies. Steve, Queensland.
