  1. Sold. Thanks guys.
  2. Blitz Turnflow Intercooler R33/R34 Great intercooler, I can get this on and off the car in about 10 minutes. Uses stock cooler pipes so no hole sawing massive holes etc... Needs minimal reo cut as well, police friendly. I have top bracket for R33, R34 would require a tiny bracket made, probably even flatten and re drill the R33 bracket. Top mounts on bonnet latch. Located Newcastle $250 ono 0421454470
  3. I had a problem where I thought the rev limiter was stuffed in the powerFC. Turns out the intake pipe was sucking closed and it was like hitting a brick wall! Actually way worse than limiter as there was no momentum what so ever. It happened at exactly the same revs, everytime. Only time it didn't happen was when I used half throttle and limited boost.
  4. Hope it wasnt the same idiot that done my "tune" on the coast
  5. Mate, forget about it. You've not seen it in person?? It's a standard scam, they get the photos and VIN details off ebay/carsales and re advertise with the same pictures/details. Transferring ANYTHING through western union is a scam.
  6. Can someone confirm the exedy part numbers for the HHDB and HHHDB for 33gtst?? And it was said above that the early 32GTR has a higher clamp rate?? They are the same spline and diameter, is this a better choice? I had a silver cover sprung ceramic 5 puk exedy in my 300rwhp RX7 and it was absolute garbage. Would get hot and slip after a single launch. Was around $480 trade. I would not want that in my line.
  7. Taste, yes. Spare cash, no. hahha Pretty sure it'll be for S1 only mate, cause of the headlights
  8. I don't think those duty cycles will be right either. Mine is running .80kgcm2 @ 36% duty cycle. From memory the manual states a higher duty cycle for higher boost. But I had a lot of trouble setting mine up, took about 35 minutes on the freeway. And then my tuner done it in about 5 pulls on the dyno. They're great when they work properly
  9. http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/pressure...rter-d_569.html 1.20kgcm2 is 17.1PSI 0.95kgcm2 is 13.5PSI
  10. Avoid nengun. I've used greenline and http://perfectrun.jp/ and both offer a great service. perfectrun are my pick
  11. Probably just a hi flow cat/exhaust. My 33 boosts to 10psi with the avcr turned off.
  12. Constantly. I've had a go and at low revs it just dies, moving around a carpark etc...
  13. Dump it harder... More rev's and side step it, if your fairly violent with it, it'll break the initial traction and not really have time to slip. Unless your running semis or something special Also, don't sit on the brake and dump it. Drop it, get it spinning and then apply as little brake as possible for desired effect.
  14. I have a similar experience... I was going for 2nd though, was well through 1st, a lot of smoke so didn't realize for a second. Stock clutch and 285's don't mix hahaha New clutch about a week later
  15. With out going through this whole thread, do you have a bolt on turbo that has successfully produced 260-280RWKW with out any dramas? Hiflow or other? I'm interested in the above but this thread seems like a running development?
  16. My first tune ended up costing ~$3000 after losing the ringlands off two cylinders. Wish I would of payed a bit more money and took it to someone more competent in the first place... I have learnt 2 things about tunes; Will travel for a known good tuner, will pay $$$$ for a known good tuner.
  17. This is why I paid to get mine done. It cost $110. He snapped two studs, I have little patience so it was money well spent.
  18. Is Indy from IS motorsport still around????
  19. Get a cheap low kay engine and get a smaller workshop to put it in. Probably throw a clutch in it too... Cost me $1400 for the engine and $500 in and out, drive away. The new engine had 5PSI more compression across the board, was a partial win.
  20. I used to install at autobarn, Good times... Make sure you've got plenty of Motul in stock for that 20% off
  21. Feeler gauges... Easy
