  2. On this subject too, on my ECR33, if I hit limiter sometimes it just bounces and sometimes it is just dead - no pop pop pop. Is this normal?? My old RX7 with a microtech used to do the later. Just like hitting a brickwall.
  3. 85 S3 RX7... 12AT/highflow S4 turbo/microtech etc... Sold it to buy the line, tried to buy it back after about 3 months
  4. I'm a Fitter/Machinist by trade which is why I think they are expensive. Material and hardware cost is relatively small. If I wasn't so lazy and the demand was there I would model and CNC a heap of them up. I'd quite happily pay $250 for them... Don't get me wrong, the $800 package from UAS is decent for the average punter. Also, bigger calipers would equate to greater stopping capacity, so that cost is not relative.
  5. Someone organize a group buy on offset caliper brackets for 33GTST. Looking at buying some soon, was quoted $350 a pair, which I think is pretty steep.
  6. 577? 542? Use them everyday, if that didn't seal it there must be some inherent problem with the fittings!! (Which GeeTR is getting at)
  7. I feel your pain mate... Mine disintegrated @ 10PSI, very expensive failure to say the least.
  8. I have one, can't really compare it to anything but what came on the car... Made more difference than the split dump to be honest.
  9. It's going so cheap because it is not drivable, despite what the ad says in regards to fixing it, budget at least $10K to get it going again... If your capable of doing a swap yourself it could work out cheap. Keep in mind that they are getting quite old now.
  10. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=167038 Read and follow that... It got mine working a treat, takes some time though.
  11. Probably a IHI RHB32 off of a CB60 Charade... They are tiny! Should be able to pick one up for ~$50 too.
  12. Yeah it has heaps of settings... But for me, all I want a boost controller to do is get my car too x PSI as quickly as possible and hold it there. I don't even use any of the features on the AVCR - if I had traction issues I would probably go about setting boost by RPM. If you've got 225s on the rear and 300KW it'd probably be fairly useful
  13. I've curently got an AVCR and had a turbotech bleed valve. Also had the TTBV on my old Mazda. The AVCR is overly complicated, the turbotech held boost just as well as the AVCR does. The AVCR was really shitting me for a while there, almost went back to the TTBV.
  14. I've got a S2 sitting here and it has 45V4 and similar numbers on the actuator...
  15. A little late, but, I'm running 285's * 18's on the rear. It's all about the offset...
  16. I machined up this for mine... Was absoluetly no use at all. Ended up just checking everything by hand.
  17. Any dyno sheets with that turbo?? Boost response etc.. Interested.
  18. AVC-R states after the throttle???
  19. Apparently 24, R33, $20000 cover, $1600 a year, Elders.
  20. So your including all of that + turbo?????
  21. If it's the stock 33 turbo you *will* end up with a bag of bits...
