  2. hey, i removed the badges on my 03 vectra and i just used goo remover, a hair dryer and i paint scraper. the trick is to use the hair dryer to heat up the glue/doublesided tape then put the goo remover in all the areas where it is exposed. wait about 5 minutes and then get the hair dryer and heat the badge till you can twist it a little. put masking tape around the tip of the paint scraper so it doesn't scratch the paint and then use it as a leaver and prise the badge off. once its off clean the rest of the goop off. depending on the time the badge has been on the car it could look perfect or there could be a discolouration or a dirty film. if you cant get it off by rubbing then your best bet is to take it to somewhere that can give it a quick buff. it will cost you hardly anything and only take a couple of minutes. bobs your uncle. good luck

  8. Hi guys, here's issue, im booked in a Chasers to do a 100k service next Tuesday and want to do the cam gears at the same time. i have 1 HKS intake cam gear but because of the exchange rate (don't even get me started) i cant buy the exhaust gear. so the question is as stated, can i buy a greedy cam and run one of each? i spoke to the guys Kudos and they said no problems but i want to make sure? the cheapest HKS gear i can find in OZ is $275, i got my one for $160 (big difference) i can get a greedy one for about $160 my other option is to sell my cam gear and buy 2 greedy's but itll be hard to sell it in time i think? anyone want a NEW HKS cam gear????

  13. Hi Guys, im posting this for a mate, he has a r33 gts-t and just bought a new set of HKS hypermax coils (the ones with the white springs). Anyway when ya push down on it the spring rubs the shock where the helper spring and the main spring meet. The helper is on the bottom. The other rear doesn’t do it so we though it was assembled incorrectly. We played around with it for an hour as we could get it not to rub by spinning the springs but after a while it does it again. So we took the car and coils to centreline today to get them installed cuz we put it in the 2 hard basket J So Chris is saying that he is going to put the the helper on top and the spring underneath. It’s a bit of a worry cuz its not designed this way and when you pay big bucks for a top brand coil you shouldn’t have to turn them upside down? What do you guys think? Has anyone done this before???

  18. Hi Guys, i hope you can help me, after having the car off the road for 2 weeks due to putting in new master and slave cylinders and replacing the standard oil pressure sender with an aftermarket gauge the car doesn't boost past stock 10psi or so. i have a profec b spec II ebc and normally run 12psi all day . even when i try set boost upto 50% (20PSI) it still only hits 10ish. any ideas? ive checked all the cables and vac line for the ebc and they are all in fine and the display reads the boost levels fine it just wont go over 10. does the oil pres senderhave anything to do with it? with the ebc turned off it does feel a little slugish so i guess it means that it so working to some degree but yeah.... strange ANY IDEAS FOR ME?
  19. i got a little bit of cash put away. how much are you looking for "ballpark figure"?
  20. so its a gts-t that's been cut at the front, have you removed any supports? do you have any more pics up close?
  21. ill take em. send me your details
  22. will ya take $100 posted to Melbourne mate can pay today let he know very interested
  23. You have to bleed out the fluid from the slave cylinder first then remove the lines from the slave and the master. In my case I couldn’t remove the lines even using a breaker bar and my wanking hand. So I cut the lines at both ends and then removed the cylinders. I bought a braided line to replace the cut pipe from “Tweakit” for like $80. This also means now I can get rid of all the extra piping too.
  24. Hi Guys, Since I got my r32 I noticed the steering column leans to the right. I thought it was the seat initially but its defiantly the whole column as there is a bigger gap on the left of the column than the right. Has anyone else got this problem?. The car has had a wheel alignment and the car drives straight but the steering wheel is about 20 degrees to the left. So its 2 problems. The column is angled to the right and the wheel is about 20 degrees to the left What can I do to fix this? Does the column have left and right adjustment? Extra info I have a boss kit, and the car turns a lot harder to the left than the right (full lock)
