  1. i hit 85% injector duty cycle on the dyno so i thought why not give them some overhead. like i said i want a strong 200kw. the pump is only 10 months old so i hope its not that

  5. Hi guys, ok so on the weekend I installed a Nismo FPR on my r32. I have attached an image of how I installed it. I already had a fuel pressure gauge installed so I know what the old regulator was doing. So anyway I turned the key on to prime the pump and it goes up to 50psi. I then start the car and it goes down to 40psi and sits there at idle. Now here is the issue. With the standard reg when I accelerate the pressure increases as the manifold pressure does but with the nismo reg as soon as I tap the peddle pressure goes straight up to 60psi and holds there for a second or 2 then goes back to 40psi at idle. It's not linear like before. I've played with the adjustment screw but that's only for the initial pressure setting. I took it for a drive and its fine but as soon I accelerate to goes to 60psi and when I WOT it trails from 60psi to 58, 57, 56. So is this normal? I thought that because it has a vac line it would be linear? Any ideas guys? Extra info I've got an aftermarket GTR pump
  6. hi guys, i was cleaning up some wiring under the dash and while upside down i noticed that there was fluid on the top of the clutch. so i pushed the peddle a couple of times and clutch fuild was coming out of the peddle inlet (where it goes through the firewall) so im i up for a new master cylinder or just some seals??? extra info car has had a HARD 110 000km the clutch peddle is very very squeeky on both in and out is it related?

  8. yeah still need cash for PFC tune but i still made 180kw atw on the dyno so still a healthy figure.
  9. thanks guys for your input. 6 dead spark plugs later and the car is flying again. i had the some ngk plugs in it before but they were 7's. the 6's are smooth as. very happy
  10. thanks for being so candid hahaha im still laughing. i got a new set of NGK Coppers BCPR6ES to go in tonight (fingers crossed) i did give it a good pumping for a couple of minutes afterwards but maybe there stuffed at $3 a plug i dont care. hehe as for a remap ive had a pfc and hand controller sitting in my shed for 6 months now. im trying the get the money together for a major service, tune and to put my hks cam gears in. im nearly there so hopefully your right. ill test tonight a post results. thanks guys.
  11. Ok so this is the problem. Took off in first, snapped second and the car cut out. Started and stalled the car for 200 metres to get it off the road. (not fun on a main road at night in the wet) Check the engine and found the cooler pipe from the throttle body which goes to the hole under the battery had pooped off. (greddy type m intercooler) cool so put it back on started the car and now its missing but not really stalling it misses at idle and under load I thought I could have fouled the plugs so I gave it I kick in the arse to clear it out no good still missing took off AFM while engine was running, car cuts out, started the car with AFM off, high idle missing is a little better but still there drive the car home, missing at all RPM barely drivable Mods on the car thats relivant r33 turbo greddy intercooler 3 inch zurst 12psi greddy profec b spec 2 fuel pressure gauge air fuel gauge volts gauge Here is some extra data 1. I always get popping from the intake manifold when I cold start and backfire between gears so just im guessing the backfire could have caused back pressure and the cooler pipe to pop. This is probably a timing/tune related issue but something to add anyway. 2. the last thing i did to the car was reinstall the fuel pressure gauge sender So what could have caused the problem? Is the missing the result of the problem or the cause? Ideas so far 1.plugs are still fouled (clean, test) but wouldn't have caused the pipe to pop 3.coils? Pull 1 at a time to test for change basically my mate and i drive 35kms to work together everyday and he wroteoff his 180sx to weeks ago so we are carless unless i can find a solution Please help

  16. its the stock diff so im guessing its a vicious r200 right. if so its all sweet and the guy at autobarn fluked the right answer (ill never give em credit for anything) can someone confirm?????
  17. hey, god i wish my girl was as fast at replying as you guys hahhaha. thanks for the input. it MAY be ok, i gave the car to the mechanic tonight and i HOPE he hasent started yet. ill call first thing in the morning FINGERS CROSSED. will the LSD additive be ok long term, is this a common thing to do???
  18. hi guys i gave the wrong oil to my mechanic. The motul website sez motul 300gear oil is for non- LSD diffs and ive got a r32 gts-t it cost a packet too. those wanks at autobarn, I said to the guy "are you sure?" and he said that "motul Gear Competition is only for the GTR" im i gunna hafta chage it?????

  23. HI GUYS the gauge is all good after driving about 20k to work today is started working again. i guess it was just the residual carby cleaner on the acc valve giving the o2 sensor a strange reading. thanks for the info guys
