    hey mate very very interested.

There are 2 versions of these injectors

    195500 1370 high Z 1 = 2.5 OHM's

    195500 1370 low Z = 1.9 OHM's

Are these the high OHM's version?

  2. Hey guys,

After 6 440cc gtr injectors, would prefer them to be hose tail, as there going onto a vl fuel rail. Doesnt matter if there not though.

Let me know what you have.

Must be in good working condition.

    cheers.

Hey Mate i got some aswell as a resistor pack if you are interested. You will need to get new top o rings for them but there only a couple of bucks.

    Let me know

    Regards,

    ASh

  4. Which one is return, I am guessing the two black pipes coming from near the front of the extractors are the fuel lines. There is a top most one and lower one, which would be the return?

the return is the one without the fuel filter attached. so its after the rail and fuel pressure regulator

  5. Ok I need some help diagnosing a problem with my R32 GTS-t. Recently it has become dodgy at starting and is becoming progressively worse. When I turn the key it kinda stutters and cranks a bit then stops and then is about to start and then doesnt but after maybe up to 10 secs it will crank over and start. Sometimes it barely does it and sometimes like to today it was really bad. Does anyone have an idea of where to start? First thought went to battery but if that was bad, wouldnt it have died by now, it has been going on for two weeks. Other ideas are starter motor, coilpacks, something else?

Also, probably related, engine almost stalls when I pull up to a stop and have the a/c on fan speed 3 or 4.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I'd check fuel pressure with a gauge as i had a broken fuel pressure regulator that didnt hold pressure when the pump primed. this caused the car to only start if i cranked it for 10 or so times.

i quick test is to clamp the return line and try to start the car, see if it starts straight away

  6. Get your wallets out boys!!!!!!!

    2. R33 turbo with

    · polished compressor housing

    · polished turbo elbow

    · Std actuator

    · Braided oil line

    History

Purchased this turbo 2 years ago and got the polishing done last year by GLM metal polishing in Adelaide.

    Condition

The setup look really trick and is a fantastic upgrade for an rb20det. As I never got the car tuned with the turbo I always ran a safe boost level of around 10 – 11 psi with an r32 actuator. When I got the turbo it had the slightest amount of shaft play (1mm max) and after taking it off 2 weeks ago I can say it 's still in exactly the same condition. No smoke or noises.

The Turbo elbow is required if you don't have a nipple on your stand intercooler pipe for the actuator line. Common on rb20det's

    Price

o R33 turbo with polished compressor housing and Std actuator $280

    o Polished turbo elbow $60

o Braided oil line (made by hypergear) $70

    Package price $380

    History and Condition

Purchased these last year, got them cleaned and flow tested by flowcraft 6 months ago. They replaced the filters and bottom caps but not the top. When I tried to put them in I broke 2 of the top o rings so therefore I couldn't get them into the car in time for the tune. You can pickup the o rings from Nissan and any injector place for a couple of bucks each but not on a Sunday, I tried...

  7. I am with others in saying i would miss the first Sandown day you were hoping to run and make sure everything is sorted.

Get am 040 Bosch or an in tank HKS/Nismo etc fuel pump and throw away the fuel reg. RB20s are damn tough and will be reliable at 230rwkws, but you need to make sure the fuelling and cooling is right before going to a place like Sandown with such long straights where you will be up the car for all money

Thanks for the info roy i was hoping you would see this, The track day is paid for so if i don't go i lose money and the hours ive spend putting it together.

so guys i need to know my options

    1. Get a 040 bosch and removed the reg. pump = $200ish (cheap)

would i need to get a retune?

    2. get a set of new injectors (550cc) and a retune ($$$)

    3. My friend has the same pump but hasent put it in his car yet, so could i run 2 inline?

there wont be very much time between Chasers opening and the track day so i'll be lucky to get in in time.

    Any other ideas guys?

  8. Don't street race you stupid boy. Least of all brag about it on this forum - quick way to earn yourself a ban. We do not tolerate it.

Walbro's simply do not perform well under higher pressures consistently, i've not seen one that does. Mine sure as hell didn't.

Hence it is now a low pressure lift pump for my surge tank.

They are better suited to N/A applications basically.

So its 85psi base when the car is idling? jesus... you sure its not increasing on boost?

It all sounds to dodgy/backyarder IMO. I certainly would not be track racing such a questionable setup as with such high pressure's etc.

Something even slightly goes wrong, off for a new motor you go.

R31Nismoid - thanks for your opinion, so i take that the reg is faulty as doesnt go up in pressure with boost?

i cant find any 550cc at the moment or else id buy them, also Chasers done come back from xmas leave till the 12th i think.

what reg should i use and what should it be set to then?

  9. Side Note...

I had a run against a 5 litre VN SS with a cam last night. good run but i had him easy. I took a pic of the peak level on the hand controller afterwards.

The Knock is higher than its even been but i hit the limiter in second as the V8 was so loud i could even here my car. The knock level on the dyno was 15 - 20 and so far on the street its been about 25-30

    related???

that tests can i do. I know the basics but the pfc is new to me and i prefer to as the guys in the know first.

    thanks guys

  10. yeah 85 base is pretty high.... what fuel pump are you pushing that pressure with? please dont say walbro.

Ok so now im worried, when i took the car to get tuned it had an aftermarket pump but Paul said that it was failing. Even though it was only a year old.

So he put a new pump in and yes its a walbro but they couldn’t tell me the model....

They charged 200ish plus install 270l/min im guessing.

The fuel pressure reg is a shitty "Drift" brand one that i picked up the night before the tune as i initially had gtr injectors but 2 were faulty so i thought at least id max the stock ones for now.

The think is the reg is raising rate but when looking at the gauge it just sits at 85psi and doesn’t move up or down on boost?

Guilt-toy- so im i going to have immediate issues? the first track day is on the 17 january at Sandown

  11. Hey Guys,

Quick question, car just got tuned at Chasers

    related Mods:

    pfc

    rb20det 125,000kms

    hks 25/30 turbo

    z32 afm

    stock injectors

    bcp7es plugs .8

    fpr 85psi (to max injectors)

    arc airbox

    isc cam gears

    new fuel pump

    Yellow jacket coil packs

    215kwatw (Very Happy)

After the tune Paul at Chasers said I should change to heat range 8 plugs to be safe as it will be seeing heavy track work next year.

Im about to get them but wanted to know what you guys are using?

pretty sure Paul recommended NGK Bcp8es gaped to .8

Will the 8's get any start up/misfire issues?

    thanks guys

    Ash

  12. I have the same turbo on an RB20 but with GTR injectors and its great. 210kw at 16psi and only about 65-70% injector duty. My timing had to be held back massively as well, only running 8 degrees on the 'full load' area points on the map as above that it knocks(carbon hot spots or something, its an 185,000k engine). Still feels good, felt very fast when running proper timing as well. Out of interest are you able to look at your ignition map and let me know what kind of timing your running on the high load, high RPM points?

    Cheers,

    Adrian

yeah no problems at all, the injectors hit 90% duty cycle at full boost from memory. but I'll get the details for you later

  13. Yeh well maybe some like the wheel spin :D but you will definately have much more useable power with the wider wheels, better suspension etc

Not that im one to talk I still have stock suspension and 9inch wide wheels and Im hoping to make 360kw.

Yeah hear is a longer list of parts currently on the car

    lmgt2 rays 9" 17" wheels

    235 federal tires

    whiteline rear swaybar

    isc coilovers

    isc cam gears

But at 4000rpm in second gear the car just takes off. i can't even look at my gauges or hand controller, its hectic.

Will be ordering 550cc injectors and raising the boost to 19ish psi
