  1. I’d just like to say a big thanks to Paul at Chasers in Melbourne for his hard work in getting 215kw out of my rb20 r32. He actually got a run of 230kw but the injectors couldn’t cope.

    Quick specs

    Unopened rb20det with unknown Km’s

    · Hks25/30

    · yellow jacket coil packs

    · STANDARD Injectors

    · Power FC

    · Walbro fuel pump

    · Greddy cooler

    · Hks adjustable actuator 16psi

    · Arc airbox

    · 3” full exhaust

I tried the gtr injectors with a resistor pack but it was nothing but dramas so went back to stock and put a FPR on at 85psi

    Feel of the car

Fantastic full boost at 3800rpm, second gear is all wheel spin and the noise is unbelievable.

If you don’t believe my ask the VE SS driver last night who got the shock of his life when a 20 year old skyline passed him on low boost like he was nothing.

    Absolute magic.

  2. Hey guys,

Im fitting up a hks 25/30 to my rb20det and i have found that im missing 1 of the stubs which connect the turbo to the dump. after looking further i found the studs are much smaller than the standard studs which i believe are m8 1.25

The hks studs are about 2/3 of the size, shorter and thinner.

Any ideas what they are? I called GCG and they said its strange cuz they are normally m8 1.25

  3. Rear subframe mounts to suit skylines, silvias etc.|

    Brand new.

These aren't rubber but much harder delrin compund.

These completely replace your stock mounts unlike pineapples. These can be used in conjuction with pineapples for a much more solid rear end.

I'll take em where are you located?

    What brand?

    send me your details

  4. Just clearing out space, and getting rid of a few bits I am no longer using...

  5. I completely re-wired my rb20 due to having a FF plenum now. Injector loom as stated is in 2 parts, I merged it into one. Bit tricky, make sure you MARK EVERYTHING! But it can be done. Nissan plugs for injectors try petroject in melbourne. If you have ruled out spark then have you had injectors flow tested?

thanks for the info. quick question, the std injector loom has power coming from both sides? why is this so? I really want it wiring to be simple so was hoping to have 12v power coming from the loom feeding the injectors from 6 through to 1. any issues?

also is there any problems with adding a waterproof plug so i can quickly swap them in rather than hard wiring it in?

  6. Since you are Melb i might be able to help you out with much better pricing than Nissan will offer you over the counter.

You'll need to do the legwork though and get the part numbers.

RB26 full loom i know is around $880. Trade is around $700 i think, but i can get it cheaper than that.

i called nissan and they said they dont sell the injector plugs? but if seen generic ones for like $4 each?

ive got a hks 25/30, gtr injectors, z32 afm and power fc waiting to go in but i cant till i fix this misfire

ive gone to a couple of shops but they couldnt fix it so i just wanted to rule wiring out once and for all

  7. Its just the injector loom your after not the whole loom right?

I have both an Injector loom and an engine loom for sale both in good nick would be easier than starting from scratch :D

Drop me a pm in your interested

From what i can see the injectors, water temp, and tps ect are all hardwired into the loom. thats why i wanted to MAKE a plug in loom.

So is the loom you have plug in? is it standard or custom? i know the front 3 injectors plug in but not the back?

    please confirm?

  8. hey Guys,

Well my engine loom in my rb20det is a bit worse for wear, i get a all kinds of misses when i touch it so im looking at my options to start fresh.

Does anyone know the cost of a new loom for nissan?

To make my own i can buy the injector plugs ect which will cost me $100 max but there's a bit of stuffing around

    whats everyone else done?

  12. Hi Guys,

ive got a rb20det r32 with a s1 r33 turbo and have just put a HKS adjustable actuator on it. I thought id share my experiences and hopefully get my questions answered at the same time.

To set the scene the car has all the supporting mods as-well as a greddy profec B spec II boost controller.

With the controller off i sit at about 10psi with a trail off at high rpm. The turbo had the original actuator which was set at 7psi so i got about 3psi from the supporting mods.

Now when installing the HKS item i firstly just lined up the hole that connects to the turbo's wastegate flap and took for a quick spin.

TEST 1: RESULT = 5psi and very slow

Now at this point i was a bit surprised so i turned on the boost controller to see if the actuator was actually working or if id stuffed up.

    TEST 2: RESULT = 6psi

so i was happy that it was working fine but just set too low. I pulled over and tightened up the screw about 1 cm. this wasnt going to be enough but i just wanted to see an increase and went for another spin.

    TEST 3: RESULT = 6.7psi

so i repeated step 3 again and again until i was back up to about 10psi.

now that's all i have done so far and have noticed that the boost is getting to 10psi and that slowly creeping to 10.8 at high rpm, so should I loosen the screw a little?

Or should I use the boost controller? I'm aiming to run the turbo at 12.5 - 13psi

As i do some more testing I'll update the thread with my progress.

    cheers

    ASh

  13. hey guys,

was going to put these in my rb20 but im getting a rb25 soon so these wont fit.

The guy i bought these from said he got them cleaned and tested before selling them to me but i got them redone just to be sure. Sam Di Fazio from flowrite said they were perfect and ill flowing within 2-3%. he also confirmed that they were cleaned previously as the seals and caps had been replaced.

the injectors cost me $280 and were from a r33 gtr with 35000 on the clock.

    the cleaning was $180

    Quick sale price = $300

That's a bargain for 440cc perfect condition injectors.

    cheers,

    Ash
