  1. No Jess the Superlap GTR is for sale ,second GTR was sold months ago. dave
  2. There is a fix for that, we used to have the same problems as everyone, but changed the front wheel bearings to a ball type bearing (tapered std) and the problem is fixed. have had same front bearings with no knock off for years now. dave ps The BSM GTR is for sale too.
  3. yeah your onto it chris, that incar from gtr was on different tyre ( sports sedan slick) we ran very similar lines at superlap to sierra with r spec tyres (a little more kurb maybe:) ) its all about power down in straight line not as much mid corner. im sure the incar stuff from us will be up soon dave bsm
  4. thanks to all the SAU members who dropped by and said hi, sorry i couldn't get to pop up to the tent. thanks to all that made what seemed like a unlimited feast of parts on call if needed. Like everybody we have tales to tell and excuse books in hand but we came to do a low 1.36 and went away with a 1:35.8 so more than happy. congrats to mark berry 1:34.1 is an insane time congrats as well to all the other SAU members on the day Dave Loftus BSM

  6. hey is there any SAU stickers avail, would be nice to have one on GTR for the photo shoots . jes.............? we might have a new paint livery for superlap so would be good to have a plug for the club dave
  7. settle down woman!!!! your suposed to be cheering on the aussies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dave
  8. its true we need to run 50/50, we even built a trasfer case with a solid shaft so it dosn't have a clutchpack (very light weight) ,in testing car was very fast but front diff couldn't handle it. we punched the front diff assembly off the sump. The problem is the front diff is small but if you run too much fwd under braking the load coming back into the front diff is opposing the load from the transfer case. the casting on the sump is the weakest link and because the front pinion and cownwheel create a sideload (trying to spread apart)they punch the diff off. when you look at a broken one you can see they will take that load in the power delivery direction (on power pinion has thrust direction against sump) but they are not strong the other way. result was to limit how much fwd under brakes (no broken diffs since) dave
  9. darn machine double post sorry!
  10. Myself & BSM have nothing but good things to say about mark and his passion for motorsport, The R34 has massive potential to be fast!! its alway's easy to be a computer critic! The BSM GTR is being rebuilt at the moment, we came away from the last test day with a list of things that might make it faster. we hope to do another test day before SUPERLAP. dave
