hi we run the 4wd with the motec ADL dave BSM

hi we have and now do again run the 4wd through the motec. last time we built a complex set of tables that was hard to set the car up as different corners ect had different handling,so we manually gave it torqe splits. the car was faster mainly from being easier to set up. with restrictors the power was limited and this worked fine. now with slicks we have big grip levels and have to be carefull with front diff. eg with first time on slicks 3 laps of Oran park blew front diff off case. Now with motec it dissengauges front diff under more than 1g longtitude and over 220kph. last time at e/c 1.38.72 and 280kph down straight. dave BSM

hi we built a transfer case with a solid shaft and tested it . the car was fast with 50/50 split but with the front diff half the size its a problem. The biggest problem is with a mechanical lock up transfer case is not as much under power as under brakes, when braking real hard the load goes back through the front diff to the trasnsfer case and the weakest link is the sump case. they blow the diff off the side of the sumpcase. cheers dave BSM

still....I think Geoff and the boys will have a good shot at NSW sports sedan once the car is sorted. If they can win improved production they can win sports sedans. thanks duncan we are working on a few reliability issues at the moment,( gearbox, front diff and drive shafts.) but i think the car can be fast!!! top job on your car hope you can come out and play s/sedans with us. dave BSM

hi we ran all friday with few problems low 1:38s the second lap of qual gearbox exploded again. 1:40 on first flying lap. took the car home to rebuild gearbox but all our spare gearboxs have the same parts broken. we are out again!!!! any one got a holinger for sale? the data in the car says it will run in the 36s with new tyres. 278kph down the straight is hauling!!!!! sorry guys we wont be there sunday dave loftus BSM

hi we did a flywheel and clutch change in the gtr at the IPRA nationals last year in 32mins (at the track on the ground) engine change at last round 6hrs drive in drive out, thats changing everything onto another short motor as well. dave BSM Motorsports

hi we had a shocker, only got 1 flyer and was still warming her up but it spun a bearing too. We have built another engine up and its ready to race I was happy with 1st lap being a 143.00 but sunday will be fun from the rear of grid. dave loftus BSM

hey duncan we are only going to use yoko AO48 tyres this weekend. didnt get to drive today, had to work (doh) but how hard can it be to drive with twice the power catch up with you on weekend dave

hey duncan wakefield just got slower and slower as the track kept getting oiled up every race. the IPRA times said ® because they didn't have a official lap record for a combined grid race (over 2l & under 2l in same race) we have been under WW record twice last year only in qualifying not a race so dosnt count. we had boost issues so didnt run on sunday. we intend to pull the restrictors out and give it a run in sports sedans at eastern creek on 24 may. woo hoo lofty
