i'm getting the same problems too.. but i've got an RB25DET S1... changed the plugs pregapped at 0.8 and fuel pump... i'm getting really tired of it!

mine's having the same problems too... everything's fine until 3000RPM - 4000RPM, then after that, it's fine again.. It backfires and stutters until i take my foot of the throttle. (Standard RB25DET)
