  1. you will find that the ABS fuse is in the engine bay fuse box.....mine blew *dont ask why* and i struggled to find info and stuff till a bit of playing around helped me there.......the ABS fuse is a 30A fuse in the fusebox in the engine bay....looks brownish in my s1 r33 so could be the same.....they are sorta hard to get hold of.... good luck
  2. pester the assesor i recommend
  3. for the wing i recommend one of those bootlid/lip wings...makes the 33 look so much more sexier....also you could get a GTR or a S2 wing.....S2 wings look nice with a BN rear bar......if its some flare you want then i suggest BN sides and rear
  4. well my thoughts are that its a typo and he was meaning to have it "Joe and R33"......just my thoughts..... ahh yes the power bug will bite you one way or another mate....so its proably better off going with a FMIC and not really worry about a SMIC.....when i was changing my smic to a fmic i was like WOW the FMIC is really really tiny compared to the FMIC......and if your going to boost it up then my advice which is what i am going to get done soon is get a electronic boost controller and a aftermarket fuel pump......and safely enjoy the boost to 10 psi and i personally wont go anything higher then 12 psi.....10 psi is a safe boost level and is more reliable
  5. i would recommend going into Autobarn or someplace like that.....i got my Trust Vspec kit for the price of Mspec they had a major stuff up.....but i am really really happy with this cooler.....really good and installation is easy as just a bit time consuming.....and my cooler clears the fans no problems...
  6. i wont be doing a manual conversion if i were you....but then again depends on what you like to drive auto or manual.....auto's are just as fun and just as good to drive as a manual.....and trust me they are good for city driving....i have a HD clutch and going through peak hour or a busy sat nite.....my god my left calf is bigger then my right
  7. i have 390 NM of torque putting out 180kw at the rears......
  8. yeah mate do the basics first....it will cost you a bit but gives a good ground to work from in the near future.....get a full exhaust system......high flow dump pipe or aftermarket dump pipe with a highflow cat and 3" system all the way through....what you put on at the end is your choice......then get a front mount intercooler for $650-700 from autobarn a good Greddy kit.....they are good value for money...and there you go for about 2K you have a nice sounding and free flowing exhaust and a nice cooling system as well....... If you wanna go harder then get a full service as tangles said.....bosch 040 or a nismo GTR fuel pump and an electronic boost controller.....with those mods and a service you could easily run 10-12 psi through it and get some decent power mate..... goodluck with it all
  9. yeah mate like everyone said get the whole kit to match otherwise there is no point in getting just the front bar....makes the car look pretty shiat....i am going pretty much all out and even getting front fenders and a drift wing....bootlid type to go with the whole kit!!!
  10. you are always going to get dodgey people no matter what race or religion......its just the human nature.....and yes minority lets down majority specially when it comes to this....
  11. veilside front bars look ridiculous on r33's mate.....enquire into a trust front bar or something similar.....they look a whole lot better and you prob will be paying the same price for it anyway.....i picked up my kit last weekend and very happy with the kit....TVRS front bar and BN sides and rear....
  12. thats another reason that i dont do online dealings alot
  13. I have been using the Kitten Cut and Polish stuff and it does make it a lot clear but only for a month or so.......can you get hold of Silvo or Autosol at places like motorquipe or autopro
  14. Madaz is it going to be worth it though as i have been quoted $110 for the left s1 headlight
  15. so s3 GTR lights will bolt straight on and i am guessing they are good!!!
  16. never heard of putting the lights in the oven though....ahh well i guess keep cutting and polishing it is the only reasonable way to do it
  17. i am getting my kit on the weekend......from another mate of mine who has a S1.....i always thought that the s2 lights would bolt up to s1 body.....ahh well and kahli what is the deal with putting your lights in the oven....
  18. Hey guys I did a long hard search and couldnt find a thread that would answer my question so i am posting up this thread. Please give me the link if i have missed something in my search. All i am after is to know if i can bolt on a S2 R33 headlights straight onto a R33 S1. If so then cool and if not they what do i have to do in order to have them in as i hate the yellow grit on the headlights.....polishing them off and it comes back after 1 month or so.....is there another alternative to this.....just need some help guys thanks Krish
  19. is your last name "CHAU"....hahaha
  20. what other mods you got on your car mate.....if its doing that on 18psi and not on a lower one then your prob running too much boost
  21. whats the general directions of the cruise...ie hills or just nice flat roads lol
  22. great.....now thats great lol....ahh well i am picking it up for cheap so a wee bit of rework wont hurt.....people also said that about speed dreams back in the days and i had no probs with their stuff
  23. its ok i dont get a big kick out of paying out other people's mistakes or engrish
  24. my alarm is hooked up to my stock central locking...which now is starting to f**k up and wont lock the drivers door.....so have to manually lock the drivers door
  25. well i am getting my kit from someone who got it from viva garage.......the kits that viva have are limited in selection but they hold some of the good stuff......not a lot of kits do suit the r33's....i have a s1 and i am getting TVRS front and BN sides and rear....which is what i was after....i guess it makes a bit of a difference when you have an idea on what you want your car to look like....
