  1. sorry to hear that bro....i guess good friday wasnt really a good friday for you was it?......its never good to hear anyone's pride and joy stolen/broken into....what has adelaide become....
  2. i am pretty sure they are not all that smart if they are trying to break into someone's car and the alarm is going off.....do it in a discreat way.....yellow pages or white pages comes in handy
  3. well thats why you hide the turbo timmer.....even i cant get to my turbo timmer easily....but i do have a kill swtich to shut the timmer off just incase my friends in blue decide to pull me over...
  4. +1 agree with you tangles....lol good to see your keeping your pride and joy all modded up nicely....
  5. another import getting broken into or stolen....man i swear some people just love ruining other peoples pride and joy and let them have a f**ked up week/weekend.....and i agree with rubyrs4 if you catch them make sure that they find a nice accomodation in a busy hospital....
  6. sorry to hear that happened to your car mate.....what is seriously going on all i read/hear about is yet another import being f**ked up or stolen by low lives.....they better hope that i never catch them in the act and if i do they will sure as all hell be sorry.....
  7. i dont mind turbo timmers for one i use a Greddy Fully Automatic turbo timer and it has a lot more inbuilt function for eg... digital speed, battery voltage, and a whole heap other things....i got it all properly installed and its hidden in a safe spot which cannot be accessed easily....during summer or hot days i have it preset to 60 seconds and during winter down to 40 odd seconds.....but as other guys have said that you dont really need a turbo timmer i normally sit in the car till the timmer runs out and then lockup and leave....
  8. nice work mate...good to hear your back doing what you love
  9. or you could just help us lol
  10. i have heard of the expanding infrastructure but thats about it
  11. not really big on fishing but will for sure give anything a go.....have been fishing for bream and all sorts of fish before.....crabbing is nice fun sometimes as well
  12. on that note...not trying to hijak this thread but does anyone know of places that do a good job of putting body kits, fenders etc on
  13. ohh what....jap body with french engines....so that solves the dried frog mystery well sort of....
  14. well i have a split dump, highflow cat and 3.5" Greddy cat back system and i paid roughly the same price from memory......if your going for an aftermarket option then definatly worth spending the extra on a good quality metal pipes mate....its a good upgrade and highly recommend a good quality system...i have had it for a couple of years now and its given me no problems at all....apparently D&T and AAA exhausts are very good with prices and quality workmanship....AAA recently gave my mate a quote on using stainless steel from turbo back $1200
  15. good and interesting question i would also like to find that out....and its good to hear that r33 ecu's can be remapped.....well i will call jeff or shaun once i have a few more things done under the hood and see how much the 33 makes after that
  16. maybe get a GTR this time so you have AWD when you need it mate.....good call on getting another r33
  17. now thats a good wedding car....boost it just in case running late lol....nice shots there fellas....good work
  18. i think that you should wait for a GTR and do up some basic mods for your gtst....exhaust, intercooler and maybe a ebc and a retune and you will be a lot happy once you get some decent power by doing that also boost it up to around 10-12 psi and that should be good for a while....keep it like that and enjoy it and save for a GTR for later mate.....i am more then happy with the performance of my r33 gtst and would be nice to have a GTR but happy with the gtst.... my 2cents worth
  19. AAA or D&T
  20. i had found some silver coinage and some jap cd's....bollocks knows what the songs were about but i gave it to a japanese friend of mine who seemed to enjoy it
  21. thanks for that information guys....i did some research and have found out that D&T and AAA exhausts do this type of work as well and so far D&T has given me a quote which is about 20% cheaper then BTR and i have heard of good things about BTR, AAA and D&T so i guess now it comes down to seeing what place can do a good job for a reasonable price..... Thanks guys Krish
  22. interesting that one....but as mentioned above i dont think your exhaust would be causing that problem....to me it sounds like a vac leak or could be worse a manifold gasket leak.....but yes you should be hitting 7psi even if its bone stock.....but also remember that having an exhaust doesnt give you massive amounts of power....and dont expect to have your boost to hit 9-10 psi without winding it up...another word of advice is to check if your stock boost controller is plugged in the right way....a mate of mine had that problem and was only hitting 5psi when he set the boost level for 9psi... chuck it on the dyno a lot of problems can be found that way
  23. i have been told that you cannot retune/ remap a r33 ecu so how should i go about getting mine done....any cheaper way of doing it apart from a PFC
  24. i have heard a lot of dodgy things about them
  25. yes please
