  1. but then again an intercooler is just an intercooler doesnt matter what brand/model they are at the end of the day all intercoolers do the same job anyway...cool air down.....
  2. a Greddy spec M kits are going for about $650 nice and easy no hassles....600x280x76 i think from memory....i have a Greddy Spec R and have had no problems with them....

where did you get that quote from....wont surprise me because it does take a lot of labor time doing the water pump and timing belt change....plus your using the good fluids so they will cost a bit of dosh....give a few other places a call and see how they give you a quote on doing the same things
  5. looking at fuel prices i think that hasnt been on anyones face atm ^^^
  6. yeah i would say around about 170-180rwkw......i have the same setup on my r33 and have 180rwkw so dont know the stock boost setting of a r34 but should be around the same power figures.....
  7. what a tool...i think i have seen him speeding on Salisbury highway a couple of times...and you guys have made the correct point....name and shame....and its dickheads like this that get most of us enthusiasts into some deep shit with the boys in blue....mate hit the motherbollocksn tracks....if you cant afford it then dont do it at all dont try to be a hero on the streets....
  8. i was speaking to a mate last night who got his car currently serviced by BoostinOz and he highly recommends them for future work....so give them a go and they are close by as well...
  9. i would also recommend tilbrooks on this one.....speak to either mark or michael....they know their stuff and my car hasnt missed a beat after being sorted out by tilbrooks....
  10. yeah thats true as well...also most of the time dynos compensate for the high temperatures as well...
  11. now that would be something to look forward to....a complex that can house so many different types of events....even jet boat racing....that would be nuts....
  12. i will let you know more closer to the date as to whether i am entering my car in it or just coming to watch
  13. after countless times of discussion with my mechanics i have come to the conclusion of instead of highflowing your stock turbo...why not get something aftermarket that is reliable like a HKS or something....its going to almost cost the same and would be better as you can also run high boost levels....
  14. on the money with that one mate....
  15. yeah ^^ coz i think my mate had his RB20 bored out to something like a 2.3 or a 2.4l.....and i have also heard of RB26's being bored to 2.9-3.0l....so there is no reason in my mind as to why a RB25 cannot go to 2.8 or so...but i guess nos_man you will have to do a bit more research on that....ask you mechanics and see what they say or recommend....
  16. ohh yes thats why me and the boys are know as PATT.....party all the time bro.....it was a wicked weekend up there....no miss to nag ya...just the boys, booze, feast and the ocean.....it was awesome....swim all day...crank the bbq, booze and poker in the evening and dont stop till the last man standing....wish that weekend lasted a bit longer actually...
  17. it is possible to have minimal mods and getting some power out of your ride....i mean all i did to mine was an exhaust, coilpacks and pod and made around about 180rwkw on 7psi.....so i dont see as to why some people doubt that power reading.....i was told by my mechanics to get a fmic and increase the boost to around 10-12psi and i would be able to crack the 200rwkw mark..... and as to your comment nos_man....yes doesnt matter how powerful your car is....in a drag its all about how your ride puts its power down...i mean i have taken on my mates 33 with 200 or so rwkw and easily had him by half a car length...so its all about traction
  18. was there 2 weeks ago....had killer time with mates....and yes bbq, drinking and poker somehow go hand in hand
  19. i am always thinking of room for expansion lol.....nothing wrong with 770cc injectors.... engine rebuilt and your only boring out a RB25 to a 2.6....correct me if i am wrong but i thought with RB25's you could bore it out to a bigger capacity to more like 2.8 or something....if i am correct why not do the 2.8 instead of the 2.6
  20. i will try to make it to this one....
  21. you can get something like 770cc injectors for a RB25DET from most of the performance workshops in Melbourne and Sydney
  22. yeah i cant wait either....
  23. PM sent cubes
  24. quiet a few ideas there....lots to choose from good luck
  25. i know at least 5 of my mates that have had their car debadged....i dont know why people do this....its ridiculous
