  1. after watching a few cars end up on their roofs, I would highly suggest that you get at the minimum a half cage for some sort of safety. Specially with those tyre barriers out there
  2. Aftermarket intercooler is not a problem unless you had to cut the reo bar. BOV has to be standard, regency do not like anything but standard. Computer Boost Controller or Electronic Boost controller is not legal either. Boost gauge is acceptable just depends on the location it is installed at and doubt that the rocker cover its going to give you too much trouble as well.
  3. from what I can read, he has been sent for a full inspection. Take it to a workshop and get whatever is on the defect slip to get fixed. Visit regency and see what else they pick up on. Just let the workshop know that you are going for a full inspection and they should be able to rectify what needs to be done to have the vehicle pass the inspection.
  4. Post what you have modified on your car dude and also what you got defected for, 99% of cars will fail the first inspection at regency. They will give you a massive list of what needs to be fixed and than get it all sorted out than. sucks to be in this situation - I know exactly how you feel
  5. Fliggy has a set of wheels for sale for around $400 from memory. Just another option ^^^
  6. link doesn't work mate
  7. I would put myself up but recently coming back from overseas and other circumstances do not allow for this. This is a good cause and people should definitely get behind this drive.
  8. This guy looks to me will be the joke of the parliament. Sir, excuse me sir, collingwood supporters are not allowed near the parliament
  9. Graham west workshops are down south as well, not so sure how far but that's another option
  10. There is a sticky thread on workshop listings mate. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/123887-workshop-autoparts-listing/ Just to name a few there are Willall's, Boostworx, Fours n More they are all up north and Southern Hi Tech Dyno, Graham West Workshops etc down south. So depends on where you want to go and what you want to get done for the price you are willing to pay.
  11. That's a pretty impressive time mate. Well done
  12. ^^ I would say CAMS license would be fine. Pretty sure CAMS is accepted everywhere
  13. wow didn't hear anything about this before. Would have thought that if this was the last meet of the year than it would have been plastered all over the place. Good luck to all those enter
  14. Um interesting, I got told it had to be below the line off the top of the dash. Yeah just goes to show how much import owners/drivers get picked on. You can securely mount a few gauges without any issues, yet can get defected for them. On the flip side you can have a poorly mounted GPS in the middle of the f**king windscreen and its considered perfectly normal and won't get picked on for. Where is the justice
  15. no worries mate. Just clean it all up and that way you can identify which hoses are leaking and where from. Replace them, give it another clean and sweet as
  16. external wastegate = no idea but cannot see it being allowed through even being plumbed back. gauges have to be mounted below the top of your dash line from memory, so the 2 hole gauge pillar is a no go (correct me if I am wrong, but know of a mate who got defected for these)
  17. also check the power steering lines as its a common leak in skylines
  18. You can get defected for having oil leaks in the engine bay mate. Just make sure that there aren't any leaks and you should be fine, especially in a NA. No need to panic mate.
  19. Would have thought that you would have snapped that up by now, Pete
  20. oh wow in that case it should have been what was quoted
  21. We are not saying don't organize a cruise. There are different ways of organizing a cruise. First of all should have kept the start date, time and place to a pm. This prevents all retards rocking up to the cruise as this forum is open to the public. Either way, even I might make an appearance. You never know hehehe. Good luck with the whole cruise mate.
  22. That is why you check your policy every time it comes up for renewal. The Agreed value of the car won't stay at lets say $15k over 3 years. It will keep dropping. Very similar to market value but with market value you have no idea what it is. At least with agreed value you have a fair idea of what you are getting.
  23. Just saw a few posts on facebook about this cruise. Please just as a heads up if you organize a cruise between yourself via this forum than do not advertise it as a SAU cruise. Just call it something else but try not to link it with the club as it is not organized by the club. Have a fun cruise
  24. Umm that is interesting. I had a policy with them a while back now and they had everything under the one policy. Things might have changed from 07 to 09 but still rather interesting as to they made you get out 2 policies for the one car.
