yeah they also said they wont attend burglaries, car thefts, minor assaults, only life threatening emergencies, and home invasions if the intruder is still in the house. they said they will attend high speed chases, but said there will be no patrols on the street. *unscrews number plates*

Geoff Risbey can import them but you need to find a RAWS workshop that can do the compliance work to the car and supply the compliance plate. I'm not sure whether there are any other RAWS compliancers in Perth for R33's yet, ask Geoff he will know. As for things to look out for, Geoff does his best to give an honest description of the car. The only thing to be wary of with all imports no matter who you buy it from is dodgy odometer readings, if the condition of the interior looks pretty worn and the odometer says 45,000 then u know its dodgy. my mate bought a 95 r33 with 100,000km on the clock and the interior was immaculate, no wearing on the steering wheel, drivers seat bolster or handbrake leather... these are common interior parts that show obvious wear. i'd go by the condition of the car anyway first, instead of just by the odo reading. there isn't much else you can really look for yourself since u are importing it and cant inspect the car in person. if its stock standard and has been well maintained and serviced then there isn't much to worry about. Accident repair vehicles are cheaper of course than grade 4 cars etc, but some repairs can be very bad, and some u would never know it was in an accident. Basically you get what you pay for, if you want an immaculate car u are gonna pay a fair bit. i have imported 2 r33s through geoff and can personally highly recommend him. use the search feature on the forums to find out more info, because a lot of these types of questions are asked many times. if you type in 'geoff risbey' or 'prestige motorsport' u should find a fair amount of useful info. Chris. :burnout:

Whats the best mods for a stock R34 GT-T?
Cake replied to Bill's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i'd go: full aftermarket exhaust (one with centre muffler aswell as rear, since you dont want it too loud) front mount intercooler electronic boost control + apexi safcII, or can go for a more serious aftermarket ecu. try get these ones installed at the same time so you don't have to tune it more than once (save $). Turbosmart E Boost is probably good, but you can also get jap brand EBC (electronic boost controllers) for a similar price. its up to you really. -
it will give better spool up, and you may notice a slight power increase without the restriction of the cat converter. it is illegal though for street use, and the fumes are quite bad running without the cat converter, you dont wanna breathe that stuff in . you will also get black particle shit all over your rear bumper.

Tyres what are you running in 255's ?
Cake replied to Roy13's topic in General Automotive Discussion
i had falken ziex 255/40/17s on my car from japan so dunno what they were worth, but they didnt really grip much, espcially when they started to wear. since my car is low, but not really low, the inner tread wears a lot faster because of the neg camber. when i replaced them, the inner tread was almost smooth and the outer tread was still 95% . in the dry in a straight line they just used to spin in 1st and all through 2nd, and my car is almost stock. i still have the falkens on the front (235s), and they are fine for front tyres, no problems at all. i recently purchased Dunlop FM901's 255/40/17 for the rear, $310ea fitted/bal. they are only really just wearing in now, theyve only done a couple of thousand kms. they havent spun once in the dry, and grip like hell in the wet too, i highly recommend these tyres if you can find some for a decent price. -
ahhh jimi gotta love these exhaust leaks huh how bad is yours leaking? can you hear it? or feel the air leaking out when u put your hand next to it while the motor's running? mine was that bad and sounded like a truck (sr20)

c'mon joe laws like these are made to be broken

i quite like that aftermarket one, does make it look like an s14a, it could look a bit skinny on an r33 though.

i get 450km per tank consistantly, city driving. only mods are pod, and catback exhaust. i have got 480km before, and the fuel light only just came on then. i get 450km with normal driving, but not soft, giving it a thrash here and there still. havent given it a proper country/highway only run yet.
