benm you're right, i have falken ziex 235front 255's on the rear, the engine is stock and it spins so easy. my old 33 had exhaust/filter, and 225 dunlop fm901's all round and it gripped so much better.

Bleach, my 96 ser2 does the same with the throttle cable, for example if its sittin in the garage switched on and u tap the accelerator u can hear it clicking, but its pretty damn quiet seems normal

Gianni i have a 96 ser2, and didn't see the fuel light come on for ages after sitting on E, i thought it may have been broken but eventually it came on, btw i got 480km out of a full tank with some thrashing until the fuel light came on. I think the fuel light on the skyline comes on once it's really low. On my old 95 ser1, it used to come on once the needle hit E.

i got aftermarket wheels, hicas light comes on after 10-15 mins of driving over 80km/h, on freeway etc. If i turn the car off, and then on again it goes away. I tried getting it into diagnostic mode a few times, but with no luck.

i get 480km/ full tank in my r33, no engine mods at all. This is with a bit of a thrash here and there. Fuel prices here are crazy at the moment, up to as high was 107c/litre for regular unleaded average around 103c/ltr, which means that it's difficult to find Ultimate98 anywhere for under $1.10/litre... not cool.

I'm researching for an exhaust for my R33 GTS25t. At the moment the exhaust is stock, except for a high flow cat which was fitted at compliance. What's the best piping size for the RB25DET? some say 3", others anywhere up to 4"? Most power my car will ever be pumping out is ~ 300rwhp. Also if i get a catback exhaust first, that's say 90mm, is it best to try get the rest of the exhaust the same size? p.s.:anyone know anywhere that has any apexi dual n1 catbacks left over in stock?

Anyone know where I can get my hand on one of these? They are apparently discontinued, but maybe there are still some unsold in Australia. If anyone can help, it's much appreciated. Cheers, Chris.

dont mean to hijack your thread but my right rear susp made a sound today, like as if i had flicked a rock up under the rear of the car or somethin had dropped on the back of the car, a small stick or pebble. Anyway it's actually the suspension, cause nothing fell on my car and this is about the third time i've heard it. i think my bushes are installed incorrectly or are just f***d. when going up my driveway slowly the suspension usually squeaks/creaks a little, today it made a more harsh cracking sound, time to get it checked out. Where is the best place to go? I got tein coilovers.

heheh, if u got no cat, and running rich, chances are it's getting burnt each time your exhaust blows out a flame. As tlai909, the stain gives it a hardcore jap look to it.. haha, it should polish out, if not, you're gonna need new paint on there. Alternatively, put a guard on there like this:

yeh mine are screwed, the right 3 buttons of the bottom set (temp up temp down etc), when i used to knock it, sometimes they would flick on, now i dont really notice it, cant be stuffed fixing it really works fine just cant see what they are at night

brasso metal polish works awesome on the headlights, yes its for metal but works nicely and isn't too harsh. Headlights look like new now...

paul, try get some genuine skyline mats, they are secured by little ring/hook things that they attach to on the floor so they dont move anywhere... they'll save your carpet, they look decent too
