Assuming your mechanic used something like Castrol Transmax Z which is commonly used for Getrag gearboxes in both Supras and 34 GTRs that should be fine. So it might be something else... Take it back to the builder and get their opinion.

Oh and the cylinder at the front is a receiver/drier which i think will be fairly easy to get locally - I got a new one fitted once before by a local aircon place that did it on the day.

From what I've found out, i think there's actually 3 models of condenser Nengun list two - 92110-AA002: Nissan - Skyline - R34 GTR - BNR34 (May/98-Jan/99) - A/C Condenser 92110-AA401: Nissan - Skyline - R34 GTR - BNR34 (Jan/99~) - A/C Condenser I believe that there is also 92110-AA400 which is what Amayama says is interchangeable... but then RHD Japan also list the two different parts as: Part Num: 92110-AA400 : 99/1 ~ 99/4 Part Num: 92110-AA401 : 99/4 ~ So, my problem is I'm pretty sure my car was a 99/4 produced car, so I'm really not sure exactly which one i need! I've pulled the old one out and it looks like this https://goo.gl/photos/a3TNQ7p2mgw8WFY59 I'm pretty close to just ordering one through RHDJapan - pity you're not in Sydney, maybe we could have got them shipped together!

Nice Vid Eric; the slow mo is great. Not sure how you pump out an edited video that quick - I haven't even bothered to get some un-edited gopro stuff up yet. Not the best pic, but I did get 1 ok one of you so don't feel too down... On the other hand nothing of my car yet, so I feel your pain.

Had a great day, thanks to the admin team for running the day - everything seemed to go smoothly and I only heard positive things about the unexpected jump in the number of attendees. Unfortunately I had to give up pretty early in the day after this happened... That will teach me for thinking some crappy second hand nankangs would take the punishment - gotta bring spares next time! So that meant I spent the rest of the day car-hopping and taking pics - thanks to everyone that took me out for a ride! The idea was everyone got 4 runs through the motorkhana, though some probably got more. Any chance SAU could do a motorkhana on the wet pan? I feel like dry pan/texi would be much more punishing to the car (plus I'd lose cheater car advantage).

Yeah it was good fun. Rained during our track session so that made it pretty wild even with 4wd... Civic in front of me had a wild lift off oversteer spin after the sweeper down to the old turn 9; ended up off the track to the inside and not far off the wall. Only got 4 runs on the motorkhana too and managed a 28.8 (got video of that run so I might post it up later - using the horn is key)

Chris, How did the painters go matching the colour? The photos look perfect - can you pick it when you're standing there looking at it? My front bar is in need of a respray as well... Will you shed a tear the first time you end up with a new stone chip like I would?

On another note, how sweet was that AMG merc! Anyone know how standard it was?
