  4. Not sure if that was aimed at me, but it was a public event at a public racetrack and sh!t happens. But removed it out of courtesy anyway...
  5. Hey guys, After running the last few SAU days I decided to give this one a miss, but still drove down to give the new Skyline a run and take some pics. Enjoy!
  6. Good pick up - The HKS external BOV is blocked off, just running standard plumbed-back for now, but if you want more tsutsutsutsu you could plumb it back in. And yes, purple plate is fitted - that photo was from before I picked it up. Thanks!
  7. Hi all, Selling my R32 Gts-t 60th Anniversary edition which I have had for almost 4 years - I'm the first owner in Australia. It had around 105000km on it when I got it and is now up around 124000 (only used as a weekender, garaged all the time). The car looks stock but has had a few little upgrades. Interior is in great condition, no massive guages or holes in the dash, no bubbles, all vents in good order. Paint has a few scratches here and there but is very good considering its age. 9. Hello Victorians! Just wondering if SAU-Vic would be involved in any kind of car display at the F1 this year like you have been in the past? I'll be going down again this year but would consider driving down if it meant I could put my car on display (and get cheaper entry). I can't access your Vic Members forum as a NSW member so I couldn't check in there to see if this was a members only event, so sorry if there is already a thread.
  10. Wow, You'd think someone would have created some kind of car to car warning system using GPS so that everyone knows how close the car in front/behind is and how quickly the distance is changing. We get that in video games daily
  11. Hey Craig, How come the GTRs didn't run with Group A/C at Bathurst this weekend? I was hoping for a photo of a GTR through the esses/dipper, but was disappointed
  12. I love this. The engine bay looks perfect too - love the colour matching.
  13. If only they were GTR offsets
  14. Hi, If your stereo is worth 8k would you willing to put it back to stock and sell it for $32k? I'm genuinely interested in buying a 32GTR like this but like the few guys above me I also can't see the value for money.
  15. Is your aircon on at the time? I had a problem where the aircon compressor was on its way out and the extra load would stall the engine as you came to a stop. Other things to check are the AAC valve (do a search) and atmo BOV that can cause it. Any recent changes to the car?
  16. Just noticed Bunnings has some craftsman tools on the shelf now, and of course they can special order anything from a brand they carry, and will price match as well. Oh, and for legal reasons I should disclose that I may work at Bunnings haha [Edit] I should add that this is what we had on the shelf - These deserve a mention in the cool tools thread; ratcheting elbow spanners - Would be great to undo bolts where you have no room to swing a spanner, or even a ratcheting spanner. The elbow allows you to undo bolts by pushing and pulling the spanner; genius idea. The Image is here http://images.bizrate.com/resize?sq=500&uid=1609186795 - Image tags won't work for me on this fancy newlook forum
  17. I'm going to add to this thread since I want something different to the OP; White 32, as above with little to no rust etc. Forged motor and additional goodies would be a bonus. PM me if you have anything of interest.
  18. I can't believe you STILL haven't sold this... What's wrong with it??? If only you were in Sydney I'd come and look at it now...
  19. the article says... "The crankshaft was balanced and micro-polished and assembled together with ARP rods bolts and 8.6:1 compression Trust forged pistons." So it would appear you have Trust Pistons... P.S. Want to sell your car?
  20. Hey mate, I'm gonna assume you've just bought the car in your avatar - congrats! I had a look at it... was very tempted, nice car. I can tell you that from what I looked at, and after doing a Nissan FAST check, it's a genuine Nismo. Of course, it's now white so it doesn't have all the hallmarks of the Nismo version.
  21. Got any more pics? I can't even tell what colour this is... (Assuming white?) Also would be good if you could put the mag article up too
