  1. ^^^ yes, will swap these wheels for that house....
  2. Last chance for bidding - I got 2 interested parties with offers to do me the favour of taking the off my hands, but a cash or other bonus could sway me....
  3. There's starving kids in Africa and I can't even give these wheels away... what's the world coming to?
  4. things i would rather have than $2.... .....so make an offer!
  5. Oh, and I have the first interested bidder, at $0 Do I hear $1?
  6. 2 of the wheels would be unrepairable, third is ok. Not keen on posting as it's too much effort when I'm sure there are people willing to pick up. JDMWGN, you may be onto something - If I put them on the front lawn I doubt anyone will touch em, but perhaps if I put a bike lock on them
  7. One Celery juice and a sleepy mexican salt shaker... do I hear any advances?
  8. Highest bid now stands at one celery juice...
  9. Hey all, Got 3 20" tyres here on 3 20" wheels that I'd like to get rid of. Of the three wheels, 2 are damaged, 1 is ok as far as I can tell. The tyres themselves have heaps of tread however one has a small slice on the tread surface but is ok apart from that. They are Zetex brand 235/35 I'll give it 2 weeks on here and the highest bidder can come pick them up from me (Bankstown area, Sydney). Keep in mind that you could make a bit of money from the wheels at a scrap metal merchant - they're fricken heavy so you can potentially cash in. Start the bidding
  10. Thanks for the comments on my photos guys... this thread is turning into something good! The early vids are great, I love the commentary. As for the track, I'm pretty sure it was much the same South circuit as was in use up until the end however the North Circuit was added in 1974 (according to wikipedia) to make the track longer. Leaving the lake on the inside of the last corner would have made things more interesting though. If anyone has any more photos of themselves at the track, or interesting photos of the track itself post 'em up - I might post up some more of mine later.
  11. I think I should post up a few photos of OP - Lest we forget Flip flop, dogleg, call it what you will but it was a thing of beauty... Home to flying GTRs flying Civics.... (I believe his Vtec has just kicked in...yo) upside down Evos... and upside down Imps... It looked great by day, and by night was a place where screaming Rotaries and cows co-existed peacefully and nature framed the track It made you look like a hero when you got it right Nipped you for the slightest error and bit hard when you really stuffed up... Whether it was sideways over the bridge by day, or straight-lining it over the dogleg at night There was nowhere quite like Oran Park. RIP.
  12. Squeaky brakes make your car sound more like a track weapon. The bishes will love it, embrace the squeal.
  13. Oran Park is closing.... what then?
  14. Thats exactly what I did too... just make sure you get as much of the swarf (metal shavings) out as you can. On your pic you can actually see the blank where you can drill the hole out, tap it, and then put in the fitting that was on the rb20 turbo. All the hoses should go back onto the same places that they came off on the rb20 turbo, so forget about drilling/welding/tapping into your crossover pipe.
  15. bump, anyone looking for one of these?
  16. in the passenger footwell, right near the door hinge...
  17. You should go for a drive up to catalina Duncan... its still there (mostly) just gotta watch out for the section where half the road has been washed away. Last time I was up there you could drive right on if you jumped out, opened the gate which looked to be locked, but wasn't, and ignored all the signs telling you to keep out; which we did
  18. if you keep looking you will find gary aka sydneykid talks about doing a 20/25 at some point - apparently the water galleries or something don't match up and its a major job to get them to match... much easier to just use a 25/25
  19. R32 GTS-t, running at ~11psi, came onto the straight at wakefield on about the third hot lap in a row, foot flat to the floor, changed gear to 4th and suddenly had nothing... Found (the remains of) the turbine wheel in the cat...
  20. In no hurry to sell, but feel free to give me some offers
  21. On a somewhat related note... Gary, are you in the inner circle of the mob proposing this new track up on the Central Coast, or do you at least know some goss?
  22. You should have taken the opportunity to ask him how his fantastic $10million/day street circuit would provide the necessary driver training and club level motorsport facilities to replace Oran Park.
  23. Is it coming from the brakes or the engine bay?
  24. I can't speak for the Dunlops or toyos, but I know you can run the A048s in the opposite direction to what they are usually run... I'd Imagine that it wouldn't be a problem with these either which would allow you to match brands front and back... But best wait for an expert's (aka Gary et.al.) advice.
