  1. Because RACE CAR On a more serious note, people need to realise 235/40 decent tyres (bridgestone or advan) will outgrip linglongs/federals 265/35s You wouldnt have traction issues if you bought decent tyres
  2. ^^ I assumed it's because TE37 SL doesnt have center caps option and its unpainted (only high gloss)
  3. But that's usually how alignment place do it, same experience with a bridgestone tyre center here as well, ask them to do -2 camber all round, car came back with more camber on passenger and less on driver side, they usually do it to offset the slight camber on the road
  4. Nah talking to dori34, in your size, you already need -4 camber so i assume he is running more than -4 camber... i guess definition of fit varies between everyone
  5. ^^ So you're running more than -4 camber and not tucking tyres, and that it "fits" ?
  6. KU31 are not quiet at all, both me and my mate had them and changed from it, they are very noisy, especially when it's near the indicator... Adrenalin RE002 235/40/18 Dry: 8/10 Wet: 8/10 Price: $350ea fitted & balanced @ Tyre Power As above, had KU31 before and these re002 were HEAPS more quiet. I had them stretch to 10" rims and can tell the sidewalls are noticably more stiff compared to the KU31, had heaps of grip accelerating and braking. Haven't had the chance to try this on the wet yet but keen! Can't wait to try the Z1 star spec next after i finish this set
  7. Will not fit, you need downsize the tyres
  8. While having a solid top hat will transfer more NVH to the cabin but i'm fairly certain that's not your problem there, alot of people including myself run coilovers that do not have rubber hats or any rubber between springs but i dont have any sort of rattle on accel/deaccel/brake I would hazard a guess and say that you probably didn't install those coilovers back properly as you said you took it apart
  9. The 050A is going to be discontinued hence why the massive discount, they are been replaced by the S001 I believe
  10. If you are "street-driving" get some china tyres like ling longs or zeetex then since you are only "street-driving" I dont get why ppl send 2-3k on rims and spend 600 bucks on tyres cause they are only "street-driving" Each to their own
  11. Because they are cheap tyres which does not provide any sort of grip? They are probably the better ones of the cheap tyres around but still, get some decent tyres
  12. Not easy when your bank only has two branches in the whole state...
  13. Did all of you guys have to pay using wire transfer? They stated at the bottom that they accept credit card and paypal but when I emailed them, they only do cc and paypal for US customers, Aus is only wire transfer...
  14. Yes on Skylines, you need to buy the upper A arms to adjust camber, there's no camber adjustment plate on the coilovers to adjust camber like Silvias
  15. LOL @ not enough in it to make tirerack the convincing choice Dude KU31s are budget tyres whereas the dunlop is the top of line Z1 star spec which is the difference between heaven and earth. KU31 will provide no where near the grip the Z1 star spec provides.
  16. Is Federal 595ss not cheap enough that you need to buy copies of 595ss??
  17. Those ATTKD rotors are cheap for a 2 piece rotors
  18. I would imagine the rear is the same between R33/R34/Z33/G35 brembos piston wise?
  19. Hey guys, I remember reading somewhere that the Z33/G35 brembos are offset slightly different to the R34/R33 Brembos but other than that, are they physically the same piston wise? I've got some R33 GTR brembos and wanting to rebuild them, found this on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-NISSAN-INFINIT-BREMBO-FRONT-CALIPER-REBUILD-KIT-/280729086807?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item415cc1eb57#ht_3585wt_821 Just want to confirm if the Z33/G35 Brembo rebuild kit will suit the GTR brembo? I imagine the piston size is the same but wanna be sure Thanks!
  20. Do you still have the handbrake assembly by any chance? Just the handbrake assembly, dont need brakes/hubs/uprights Thanks
  21. Rarity And the point that the gallardo has been around for ages (first one released on 2003)
  22. I believe R31nismoid is referring to response on the street, whereas on the track, any turbo/stroker is ok as you are staying above 4k rpm all the time The mine's 34 is not as simple as it looks, it could be running 100 octane fuel for all you know and the engine may need rebuilding after each race?, things that you dont see in the video Just wait for Ikeya to release their paddle shifter
  23. Craved: These will fit r33 brembos if that is what you have
  24. They are on the RAYS website Looks authentic by the packaging... need to look at the inside to really know
  25. As above, the front will be fine but rear is different R34 GTT uses the same rear coilover mounts as R33/R34 GTR which is a fork type The R33 GTST is a eye type
