  1. What tyre pressure and camber? They can affect the grip level as well
  2. Hey gents, I know most of you are going to the Race tuning day but anyone heading up on "Your car Our Track" tuning day on 16th April?
  3. I'm sure it's the same for most tyres as the ad08r requires about 100km of driving to wear off the top shiny coating before the grippy part comes into play
  4. Ran scan code and it says knock sensor but you "doubt" the scan code? What would your strong analytical skills suggest then?

  6. It probably has an aftermarket castor bush on it to enable dialing in of the castor Stock: Aftermarket ones you can rotate the bush to adjust slight castor
  7. ^^ As per Marcus, we've estimated the nismo festival to fall on 30th November so we've planned everything around that

  9. I believe the only car that doesnt have the brace is the Jap Spec S - which comes with non turbo SR20... dont think you will find them here unless it's personal import, even Autech comes with the brace Safe to say most of s15s in Aus will have that bracing
  10. Nice! 3 of us are heading over in Nov as well (heading for nismo festival) for 3 weeks plus Plan to go around tokyo, nismo festival then travel down south to nagoya/osaka then come back to tokyo on the last few days to catch the flight back What have you got planned?

Judging by your post, it sounds like bracing is not your problem so i would go with what others have suggested and try something else Tie rod ends wouldn't wear down that quickly if you have just recently replaced it, check wheel bearing or LCA bushes As for the brace, they are standard on ALL s15s

Yeah but if you look further down the pic towards the middle/side, you can see the gearbox crossmember is the same height as the brace hence why it wouldnt reduce clearance The Ultra-Racing one however is different story as the mount where the bolts go to come downwards and will reduce clearance
  14. ^^ I think only the Ultra Racing brace reduces ground clearance, all the nismo brace don't do this, if you have a look at both picture on the nismo site, the lowest point if either the gearbox mount or exhaust EDIT: The picture posted by Sonicz from the r33-gtr.com website is the stock brace that comes in s15s rear boot, just find someone wrecking s15s and you can easily score them for next to nothing

There was a lady that came out to the track day on Wednesday (who posted this photo to Wascc fb page), apparently she's responsible for revamping the website/fb page She says one of the problem is the lack of info on the wascc website so she is working towards fixing it - so hopefully we will see some changes in the future soon Will have to see how the L4 spans out, on last Wed, there was probably an equal amount of experienced vs unexperienced drivers on the track so it wasn't really much of a problem for now hence why i dont see any benefit going to Race Tuning Days
  16. That's my mate Ash - will be seeing him more often as soon as he get his car sorted Tbh not sure what benefit going to L2 membership and race tuning day, will probably just stick with L4 for now
