Bottom line is mate. You can't tell if the tyre is damaged or not without taking it off the rim and inspecting the inner casing. Doesnt matter how qualified you are, its impossible to make an assumption based on the cut shown in the picture. It will cost you less than $30 to get it looked at (around the same price as a puncture repair).

Hey guys I still havent figured out the whole offset game. Im sure there is a topic done somewhere if there is point me in the right direction. Does more offset mean the wheels sit further out from the hub or the other way around. I just want it explained briefly so I can go about getting some new wheels. Looking to get some 9 inch rear 8 inch front on 33 gtst. What offset should I be looking at to play it safe without rolling guards/flaring etc. Any help would be sweet. Jamie

I think if you have had them balanced and it improved stop there. Id be starting to look at things like control arm bush's swaybar D bush's and linkpins.

Make ebay your friend people. Brand new chinese copies are often on there for $70 - $200 depending on front, dump or dump/front. And you can quite often pick up a branded jap second hand part off a private seller for around $100! Jump on type in rb25 or rb25det and have a look.

Your ecu would not need to be reset after fixing a vaccum leak. If the ecu is playing up I would say its coincedence. Is your car temp gauge getting to half way?? If its staying cold, replace your thermostat and problem fixed... you'll get your economy back.

I bet the only difference you will spot between the two is the price..

Mate for what they are worth I'd replace it either way. Its the first thing I'd look at doing when buying an import around 100,00km regardless of what you have been told. Just do it to be safe and for the peace of mind.

I didnt think the standard diffs were lsd's? I thought the r32's werent so 33's would be the same. Anyone confirm this?

Hey guys looking at getting a top secret front bar for my r33 series 1. I'm just wondering what type of indicators I would need? Is there any that fit better than others? What do you reccomend and where can I find them? Here is a pic of the bumper. Even if someone had pics of theirs and could point me in the direction of indicators would be great.
