  1. my +t project is going on the dyno tomorrow - running a t3/t04e, hopefully the high compression will help spool the dinosaur turbo. Did anyone here running the NEO RB25DE think about changing the intake manifold? or is the twin runner design superior to the DET manifold?
  2. its nothing much to look at: r32 gunmetal coupe r33 turbo wheels standard bonnet rough paint gtr bumper with lip ill post pics once i get a gtr bonnet and fill the gaping hole in the bumper with a decent IC.

  4. Hi, I am wondering where the wheel speed sensors for the r32 gts are. are they on the hub itself? (which means i need to get abs gtst hubs) i cant legally remove abs cheers
  5. I have a r32 gts25 with hicas do I need r32 gtst hubs from a gtst which had HICAS as well? cheers
  6. some scum tried to steal my r32 last night. ignition barrel is broken in half... i cant move it with the ignition barrel like that - cant start it, it had a dead battery and unplugged ignition harness anyway, so thats why they couldnt take it. is it safe enough to leave it as is? I am getting a garage for it in 3 weeks when i move house.
  7. thanks guys for your replies. have replaced my clutch. 240mm 9 bolt push got a carbon kevlar full face plate, upgraded pressure plate, solid centre (unsprung). its very heavy and horrible for the street, but seems to be doing fine at the track
  8. recently installed a heavy duty clutch to my rb25de. I have been bedding it in by driving it work, in traffic. its pretty harsh on the road. after one trip to work and back, there is now a bearing noise (metallic grinding noise). its not related to the clutch at all but rather to the speed of the car. stopped there is no noise, but once you start moving, whether its in neutral or in gear, the noise is there. most noticeable at low speed. i'm thinking maybe output driveshaft bearing? the noise does not change with gear selection, so im hoping its not anything too important. i have a race even this weekend. is this problem going to kill my gearbox? cheers

I have been looking for confirmation of this, but one of the downsides of nissans interchangability of parts is that there is a lot of random conversions and bits floating around which messes with the standardised info! are all the 6 bolt flywheels 225mm? and the 9bolt 240mm? cheers

  11. haha you guys were right, it looks terrible, way worse than my stock mspec bumper. I will try find a lip or sell it on. the only reason i got it was because it had fresh paint, and was about the same price as me getting the stock bumper repainted.
  12. the rb25det gearbox is much stronger the rb25de gearbox is closer to a rb20det gb
  13. well it will be going on a car with a mspec sides and rear pods. without the lip the lines will follow nicely. the lip would make it look a little snowplough-like anyway we'll see how it looks. if its really that bad, ill get a lip.

  15. gutted, that adds complexity to my +t plans! running water lines although I've always wanted to use a td05 series turbo... maybe this is my chance.

  19. trying to turn the opposite wheel with the other wheel on the ground to test my lsd. handbrake off. how hard should it be to turn? and does that signify how worn the lsd is?
  20. with mitsubishi factory turbochargers (mhi td series turbos) they come factory water and oil cooled. when upgrading, many people do not connect the water lines and have run very reliably. oil does the majority of the cooling. are the nissan t3 turbos the same? can I run it on just oil cooling?
  21. doesnt look like any td04 i've seen. looks bigger than a td04 too... it has an internal gate actuator on it so unless the flappers been welded shut, it should still work.
  22. cheers for that! well i picked up a cheap gtr front bumper with no lip for my gts. (made to fit gtst non wide front guards). my current bumper is ruined - so it should be a fairly good replacement. i think it looks alright!
