AS I have said before match porting inlet manifold and maybe bigger injectors,extractors and apexi muffler and 4inch exhaust ,computer with a good cold air induction should do it ,with the info I have got from the states where the infinity race series are getting 1000+hp from head and sump on factory sealed motors std. cams etc. these sorts of figures are very achieveable maybe more ?

I agree that weather conditions can effect horsepower esp. in turbo cars and therefore give slight hp variance but if you look at the theory of a dyno it shouldnt make any differance what motor is pushing the wheels against the retarder when youre talking hp its hp ,and shootout mode sounds like a wanker term, youve either got it or you dont because hp is hp .One hp in a 1500hp drag car has the same power hp as one hp in a 30 hp zeta.

Roy I am hoping for min. 550hp that 300z must be quiteeee a weopon I also wonder how he got it complied and registered I have never heard of it being done I have two mates who go to japan every couple of months and are right into performance so I will get them to check it out.Funny about the weight as the body hasnt dropped much if at all compared to the turbo 6 it actually had an rb25 in the car before,but the weight is actually sitting further back compared to the 6 now.

  5. Mork calling Orsen, if you haaaave read the regs with turbo 3750cc without 4500cc ,how do the chev and ford motors fit these specs find out about the Q45 and you wwwill run to the bathroom and wash your mouth out mentioning holden and ford and Q45 in the same message.PS note the caps.

Reality check guys why would you even think about the motors youre talking about when the legal, nissan made, realistically priced, far superior in build quality,power output,cost of modifying to achieve awesome HP and fitting ease is available ? The only thing better than 1 Q45 is 2Q45 now i could put the other in the boot and have a 2000HP 4 wheel drive ?????????
  7. the only piece missing is a good computer i have a standard one and am hoping to either get it modified or find one from japan ,the inlet i plan to match to head ports myself as i have done this to my previous cars ,the extractors will also be matched to ports because as you will see with both standard manifolds they are choking ,i will get exhausts made by a pro,with a decent computer i think it will make enough power to have some fun,i dont want it to loud just a dont f..k with me growl,i plan to run the q45 diff 3.6 and limited slip should make a good package.
  8. am trying to get tbar to fit in 32 console so i can finish rear gearbox mount then i can finalise engine mounts and then get tailshaft made then the extractors then the radiator as i have to modify the cap position lower which means putting an air bleeder at the highest position in water circuit then the fun of wiring so as i progress iwill let you know, wife is being very good to now ,but priorities are a moving target.

  10. I AM USING THE Q45 BOX AND DIFF AS I FEEL THE 3.6 RATIO WHEN YOU HAVE MEGA TORQUE WOULD BE FAR MORE USABLE AND STOP JUST GOING UP IN SMOKE ,ALTHOUGH IF I EVER GOT SERIOUS ABOUT DRAGS THE 4.1 OR4.4 WITH PROPER SLICKS AND NOT JUST SILVERSTONES WOULD BE THE GO,WAIT AND SEE ?
  11. NA I FORGOT TO COMMENT ON THE IDEA OF PUTTING A GEN.3 IN , MATE THEYRE HAVING MORE TROUBLE WITH THEM THAN A HOOKER WITH A CHASTITY BELT WITHOUT A KEY OR AN OXY ,HOLDEN ARE GETTING 300KW. OUT OF THEM ,THE Q45 WITH 6 BOLT MAINS AND FULL STUD GIRDLE AS A SEALED UNIT WITH ONLY EXTERNAL MODS TO EXHAUST ,INLET ,COMPUTER AND INJECTORS ARE GETTING OVER 1000KW. IN THE STATES,SO THE HOLDEN MOTOR OPTION WOULD BE OK TO PUT IN THE BOOT ON THE DYNO TO STOP THE Q45 FROM WALKING.

THE ONLY COMMENT I CAN MAKE IS WHAT I WAS TOLD AFTER A LOT OF INQUIRING, OBVIOUSLY SOMEONE IS RIGHT AND SOMEONE IS WRONG IT DOESNT EFFECT ME AS MY CAR IS LEGAL UNDER THE STRICTER RULES BUT I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE DOING IT TO CHECK OUT FOR THEMSELVES CAUSE THOSE FIGURES QUOTED SEEM VERY EXTREME .
  13. TWO GREAT LOOKING 32S BUT WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN NOW AND WHEN THESE BEASTS UNDER PRESENT RULES CAN BE BROUGHT IN IS ANYBODIES GUESS, NOW HOW DO I GET THE BLOKE IN JAPAN TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK IF THE 32 HITS THE FAN IF REGS CHANGE????
  14. NO FOR A 33 THE ENGINE DISPLACEMENT WOULD BE MORE AS ALTHOUGH I HAVENT RESEARCHED INTO IT I THINK THAT A 33 TOP SPEC GTR WOULD WEIGH MORE THAN THE SAME 32, IF IT WEIGHED 1540KG? THEN YOU COULD PUT A 4620CC. NON TURBO OR A 3850CC. TURBO.I CAN ONLY SAY FOR QLD. AS I HAVE NOT LOOKED AT OTHER STATES.
  15. BIRTY I WAS RESPONDING TO AN POSTING RE; TURBOCHARGING IT .THE FORMULA FOR NON TURBO IS 3 TO 1 THEREFORE 1500X3=4500 HOPE THAT CLEARS THE CONFUSION .
