Fitting Slightly Larger Injectors On A Stock Ecu.
Kane_R32 replied to sonicz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
You start off by saying you want to run bigger than standard injectors without a ecu upgrade, that IMO is half arsed... I in no way mentioned replacing stock parts with stock parts was half arsed. -
Fitting Slightly Larger Injectors On A Stock Ecu.
Kane_R32 replied to sonicz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Please tell me you're not referring to yourself? You've been advised to do it properly (inj upgrade + tune/remap/ecu), then get all defensive when people tell you that what you're planning to do is going to be half assed at best. If you can't afford to do it properly, don't do it at all, or do as most people on SAU do, save up until you can afford the mod. -
Update: Booked in with JEM for the 5th of June to drop the car off. Hoping for 230ish rwkw on 22-23psi TD05-18G (Nistune/Walbro/555/38mm E/G) With 10x better response then the Td06h20g (fail I/G) which made 213rwkw @ 18psi (IIRC) Wish me luck. Will post dyno results/sheet when its done

Getting boost signals (gauge or controller) from the manifold would be considered best because then all/any boost drops have been accounted for. Where as off the housing where the turbo makes say 12psi, by the time it reaches the manifold it may have dropped to 10psi, due to inefficient intercooler design.

I have a pair, black, located in South-West Sydney. $150 the pair. Pm me if interested

Possible R&r? Only 10Psi, Happens Randomly?
Kane_R32 replied to hop1308's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Problem: Running more then stock boost. Ecu thinks there is a overboost (aka rR&R) Solution: Run stock boost, or buy a aftermarket ECU or install Nistune.. -

Where did I mention calling triple zero? I could be referring to making a bomb threat at your local KFC... Any person with half a brain would call their phone company and block their SIM card yeah? Why is Marijuana so readily available? Why are guns so easy to buy? Like I said, worst thread on SAU.. I thought school had resumed??
-
You have to show I.D because say for example you make a death threat or bomb threat with the number/sim card, they can trace it back to you. Similar to if you were a drug dealer, sending text msgs back and forth about you 5kg of cocaine you want to offload, they can track/follow you. Not related to safety at all..
-
Most aftermarket parts come with a disclaimer "for off road use only".
-
Possibly the worst thread on SAU atm.... Any modification to a car is technically "illegal" unless a engineering certificate is provided. Why is it possible to sell a gun if it has the ability to kill people?
-
Could be any variable, exhaust/intercooler set-up can usually allow stock PSI levels to increase slightly, because of increases flow/efficiency. You may even have a small air leak or PSI drop. Get you system pressure tested (with a compressor/fittings etc) to make sure its 100% air tight. I thought because I couldn't hear any leaks it was fine. But after actually putting 5psi into my piping with the engine off, I could hear leaks left right and centre. Car now runs fine and pulls hard
-
I agree, ECU will adjust fuel depending on load (AFM voltage) Regardless of PSI. Would be different had the boost been raised above 17..

1) checks skyline au 2) checks forced induction 3) sees GTSBoy *gets excited* 4) LOL's at reply to OP hahah sorry for useless post

as GTSBoy has posted. www.nistune.com There is a section on learning the basics of Nistune software..

Need Tips On Installing A Screamer Pipe Rb25Det

Sounds like ass on idle/off boost. On boost sounds good. Sounds gay @ 3500rpm on the freeway and you go to overtake with stock power.... lol External Gate ftw -
I have for sale a set of rims and tyres Front: 18x10 +1 (approx 4-5" dish) Rear: 18x10 +1 (approx 4-5" dish) I ran these on my R32 GTS-t and they cleared the front calipers, although had to roll/flare the front and rear guards. Also ran adjustable upper control arms at the front. 225/40/R18 tyres, front are like new (95%), rears are bald from skids... Nice stretch achieved... All four have been rattle can sprayed, in Matt Black, VHT caliper paint. Originally white.. All rims have no buckles and have no vibrations while driving. These are located in Campbelltown/Liverpool area $1200 or near offer Not looking to separate or swap

I have for sale a set of rims and tyres. Front: 18x8.5 +35 (approx 2" dish) Rear: 18x9.5 +35 (approx 3-4" dish) All rims have some gutter rash, and all could do with a good refurbish. Chrome is peeling in small places near inner spokes, but very hard to notice until up close I tested fitted these on my R32 GTS-t and cleared the front calipers by about 3-4mm. 235/40R18 tyres with decent tread, rears have the smallest amount of stretch (Cheap brand tyres). Note one tyre has a sidewall egg. All rims run true, with no vibration. These are located in Campbelltown/Liverpool area. $1200 or near offer Not looking to separate or swap

Speed Limiter Reached Now Loss Of Power

Prior to SAFC - No issue After SAFC - Issues. Remove SAFC, save for Nistune. Cutting corners/saving cash now will only cost you more in the long run.. -

Let me know, open to original or carbon options if the price is right, prefer Sydney pick up but will pay postage for right item. Kane

It seems cam gears are best, I bought JJR ones on impulse. Hoping they arent too hard to set-up/tune
